We (a&m) are out of the harris sweepstakes. Fwiw, taylor hamm just quoted him as saying he was coming to a&m ("I thought in my heart it was A&M") but kyle allen beat him to it.
I love brandon harris and will be rooting for him wherever he ends up.

I think OSU is going to be a player especially after seeing what Meyer did with B. Miller.

Looks like Hamm is making more shite up to feed to yall. Truth is that both Bama and LSU were ahead of A&M in the Harris sweepstakes.

as of 2-3 weeks ago, bama's insiders were saying they were running behind lsu and aTm for Harris. Things obviously can change fast though.

Don't know anything about Hamm or 247 really, but I doubt they just made the quotes up...
Harris himself is making a pretty big deal out of it, so not sure why you would believe LSU and Bama were so far ahead of A&M. Either way, we'll both have top notch QBs.

I really don't want to get into it, I just think a lot of what he writes is too biased. But to each his own.
He runs a great site though and sells a lot of subs. Maybe what the kids tell him is the truth and he's misled a lot. 
When I get info, and Sonny and shea are great about this, they'll tell me if we have no shot or not. Yes, there is some homer spin to it, but you get the idea that LSU is in or out (see peppers recruitment). That's what I'd want at least.

hamm is the exact opposite of what you want in a recruiting guy.
he buddies up to recruits so they dont want to tell him no and in turn he is never going to get the "truth".
i think the LSU guys are also a little to much on the sugar coating side and rely to much on the "well hes from La so LSU will win out" mentality. its also why i think the crystal ball for La recruits is pretty much worthless. everyone will error towards LSU in their predictions.

Actually Hamm doesn't sell a lot of subs. He typically has 500-1000 on line at a time while Liucci has 20,000-30,000 on the premium board on texags.
I'm still figuring hamm out but no doubt he hustles.
