Saw him play at an event in a field of really good players...he stood out. Ball just flew off his bat and he was really effortless from the right side. Did not see him pitch. Carried himself like an outstanding team mate as well, but I make that assessment off of about 20 minutes.

Thanks. We had a walkon PK named Griffin sometime back. Was wondering if Konnor might be related.

If you trying to get teams to draft you and sign, how would you sound. He certainly not gonna sound iffy about coming to LSU, he will lose leverage. Saying this though, the kid is extremely humble and don’t go around boasting himself as the best or anything. Parents did a real good job with him, he is grounded. Any decision he makes will be well thought out by him and his family for sure.

I hate baseball recruiting. I'm sitting here half hoping he breaks a finger so he'll make it to campus. That's not a good way of thinking.

He breaks a finger his senior yr, they will still draft him in first. They been watching him since 8th. The kid is a freak of an athlete. Could play all three big sports in college in not hurt any of them.

MiLB is no longer an entity all its own.

Each team owns its minor league affiliates.

Owners and front offices have shown that they value the quality of the development of position players in college, esp the SEC

The most elite arms in high school still get drafted high, but those that go the college route and stand out in the SEC also increase their value
