I hope his feelings aren't because they stayed out in the clubs til 3 each morning and more because of the program.

Nah, check out his interview from last month before the Under Armour game.

Hope he goes to lsu but as a realist I don't see how a kid could choose living in BR over living in austin.

Well one city has a good college football team that puts players in the NFL at a good rate. The other city has a bunch of hipsters.

If only that were the only differences in the 2 cities...

If high school players chose schools based on the cities they're in no one would ever go to Ole Miss or State.

I went to LSU and live in Austin now. While I would rather live in Austin as a post-grad, BR is much more fun as a student.

But as a football player, the LSU program is much greater than TX right now. Especially on defense.

The timing (ignore %'s and totals) of those placements does bother me.

Just remember what he says to those covering him, or their interpretation of it, isn't necessarily a window into his thinking. So not a 'he gone' situation.

It's 3 maybe 4 years. Rather than worrying about the city, he's better off going where he'll be best prepared for the NFL. With those millions he can live anywhere in the world after he retires.

Were you a student at UT as well. Not sure how you can actually compare the two without. I've partied with some friends who went to both UT and LSU and this statement is very debatable. 6th street is the beez kneez.

KLC is a Beast, but unfortunately the UT roster has the softness, which Herman has to soggy egg workout at 4AM for the next two years to excise..something KLC should consider.

UT plays in finesse Big-12 with fast pitch and catch plays where QB unloads the ball quickly versus very top-heavy unbalanced soft competition. unlike the SEC which is balanced and allows Pass Rushers to shine on mini-NFL stage versus more balanced Offenses, in a league with premier DCs and LB coaches..something KLC should consider.

I've lived in BR and Austin, and though it may be a no-brainer for post-college, in 2017 for an Elite Collegiate Defensive Front 7 talent, when can learn and play under O, Jenkins, and Aranda..

.LSU >>>>>>>>>Texas

I was not, but have an older brother and best friends that went to Texas so I was in Austin regularly. 6th Street can be fun, but the bars are 21+, so not many UT students go until they're of age. 6th Street is also littered with local Austinites and ACC/St. Eds/TX St students. Tigerland and surrounding bars are filled with 95% LSU students.

Texas' greek scene is stronger and gets away with much more because of the price of their dues and fact that they are off-campus. If LSU greek was the same, it would laugh at Texas.

As for gameday, if you aren't greek, tailgating is WEAK at Texas. Doesn't even sniff LSU on that party.

Again, I would rather live in Austin over Baton Rouge as a post-grad. But as for college, Baton Rouge > Austin.
