I hereby predict that Kiehl Frazier will be this year's Michael Dyer. Arkansas will pass on him for whatever reason because "he doesn't fit our system" and he'll wind up OOS somewhere.

His father wants a team that can help him develop as a QB...I don't see LSU or Auburn being in this category

but jefferson has become one of the most efficient qbs in the SEC in a short period of time. will probably be a top 3 qb and maybe the highest qb rating in the SEC next year

Also, not many high profile QBs want to play on the worst offenses.

It's not like we'll have a bad offense forever and recruits realize that.

We signed a Top 10 pro-style QB in Zach Lee for 2010. We also signed 7 4* and 1 5* offensive recruits for 2010.

Petrino does have an impressive resume of NFL QBs tutored...

I'd definitely like to get him. He's already been down to Auburn several times and plays in Gus' offense basically. Would be nice to pull another stud out of Arky, but this one will be tougher than Dyer I think.

Petrino is a great coach, it is too bad he is too much of a scumbag to ever recruit well enough to reach his full potential.

The thing that makes me think we might lose Kiehl is that 3 years max is probabaly the most I see us being able to hang onto Malazahn. He is too good to not be a HC somewhere soon.

Why do people say Malzahn's offense is tailor-made for a dual-threat QB? I've not seen anything that suggests this. If anything it seems better suited for a Texas Tech type guy that wings it around.

Didn't brian brohm play for petrino? And wasn't he a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick? That seems pretty good to me. Oh wait, didn't brohm get beat out of his job by like a 7th round pick? I can't think of who it might have been...

Seeing how he's only been a HC for what 6 total years...We'll add another to the list next season...He could potentially be a #1 pick as well and at least attempt to live up to it

Could always compare that to Petrino's list as well...

Mallett seems to have a lot of JaMarcus Russell syndrome IMO. Better hope he gets on a team worth a crap.

If he is really from Malzahns old high school and he has already visited Auburn twice I dont see how Auburn isn't the favorite. Someone of his HS staff is still friends with Gus, Dyer will be his chaperone on his official visit and Gus will be the one who recruits him.

I live in the city. I'd have to say he may be favoring Auburn at the moment just because Shiloh runs a kinda similar offense to what Gus ran back there. I've watched him play, I think fundamentally he is lacking reads, foot work, things like that. Could be a good qb, but Shiloh is a private school that recruits, and plays in a weak division in AR.

Both he and his dad are hog fans and have been for years...Dyer and Fraizer aren't cut from the same cloth. B.Jones told some close frinds he got tired of Dyer pestering him all the time...I see the same playing out for this kid.

I doubt he ends up at Auburn

2 of those were pre-Miles...so they are non-factor. The other 2 have done nothing in the NFL.

Not saying Petrino's QB have had more success on the NFL level (and by success, I mean at the individual/QB rate, not W/L %...as that is largely a team stat), Im saying good QBs want to be on a team that they can play on and be the Star player making the plays.

Dont know if that came out right.

Isnt Matt Flynn ahead of Petrino's star pupil Brohm on the depth chart in Green Bay?

And does anyone really think that Malzahn will be at Auburn for much longer anyway?

Good QBs want to go to schools that:
1) Throw it consistently
2) Can develop them at the position
3) Can win some games

Petrino has been doing these since the early 90s as an OC and Head Coach. He isnt limited to Brohm
