Do we know if LSU is one of the schools reaching out ? He's a 20 year old Sophmore with proven production.

We need help at WR on the boundary. We've got proven slot guys, and quite a few young guys that fit the same mold.

What we need is size and speed on the outside.. We don't have but 2 WR's on the roster that are 6'0" or taller, with Chris Hilton right at 6 foot and Billiot at 6'3."

I'm not saying that 5'11" Kyle Parker can't pop the top off a defense for us or play outside, or anything negative about the wideouts on our team, but when it comes to getting guys out the portal, that last thing we need is more 5'9" burners. We've got like 6 of those guys.

Go get 2 bigger receivers, 1 a precise route runner, 1 a downfield threat 50/50 ball guy, and a third depth/competition guy.

Otherwise we'll have more of what we had last year, which was no separation, and no big plays because we weren't creating mismatches in the secondary.

For the offense we run to be successful, it needs wide receivers who play different, complementary roles.

Specifically and preferably 1 guy who can command a double team and must be game planned for by the opposing defense. Someone for them to fear and respect enough to make them honest.

I think he's visiting Texas A&M tomorrow. Hudson, the Texas Tech receiver, is also visiting the Aggies tomorrow.

From all I’ve seen, Concepcion is 100 percent a slot WR. I think we could potentially use both him and Anderson, but they would not be very different in profile and usage as you outline here

We're getting almost definitely getting Barion Brown from UK, who is 6-1

https://www.on3.com/db/barion-brown-9299/

And we are said to be aggressively pursuing Micah Hudson from Texas Tech, who is 5-11.5

https://www.on3.com/db/micah-hudson-145743/

We also used Trey'Dez Green as a very tall WR this season and I suspect they will keep him as a WR and work more with him on route running and choice route decisions this offseason. This means expect them to pick up a big physical TE and maybe another solid pass-catching TE.

We do have a 6-1 freshman WR coming in and a 6-6 TE who could be good if he takes after his pops.

Edited to be more accurate on LSU's pursuit of Hudson, calling it probable was my sunshine pumper leanings.

I would not say we are probably getting Hudson. He is going to the highest bidder and I don’t expect that to be us.

I bet a&m locks him up or another team with a crazy offer.

Hopefully lsu locks up Anderson and brown.

I’d be shocked but thrilled if we landed Hudson

Good point. The murmuring was that LSU was aggressively pursuing him or something to that effect. I'll restate what I said.
