A close friend son went to the elite lineman camp this past weekend in Texas. He said green is a man playing with boys. He spoke to his dad and was told Bama is coming at him very hard. really hope with the new coach we can get this kid

Aggies, Horns, and Tide are all going hard. We better bring it for 2019. Our state is loaded

With Cain to tote the rock. He could have a great career here.

Of course Bama is coming at him hard, Bama recruits the same athletes as LSU, they want what LSU has. Saban is always telling LSU recruits that they own LSU, true words, LSU has to start beating these people.

Did he say why he was decommitting?

Kid just wants to enjoy the recruiting process like any kid would. I read awhile back when he decommitted that he said that he committed to LSU early like some recruits do, and had been committed so long that he didn't really have chance to enjoy going on recruiting trips and all, so he decommitted. It doesn't mean he's finished with LSU, he just wants to enjoy the process, and then he probably returns to LSU, but they have to stay on him because Alabama and Saban will steal him.

I don’t get my hopes up with kids like this that commit early from out of state. It almost never works out. Hopefully he makes his way back to us, but I wouldn’t count on it right now.

My bad he sure did. But talked about decommitting long before. Bama not the threat as much as A@ M

We had been hearing rumors since last summer, but they quieted down significantly during the season and even after the troy loss he affirmed his commitment.

Honestly, I thought after troy, he was going to stick for a while. Can't blame him for opening things back up with the coaching change, though.

Oh well. I think he'll be back. I like the way he comes across in interviews. Seems like he's a thoughtful kid.

Seems like a Kelvin Joseph situation. Its an chance for many to go somewhere they had never been. Get to tour some "Elite" facilities...not to mention the food, women and likely constant praise these young men likely will get. Sounds like an opportunity no 17-18 year old would want to pass up!

I origionally came to Tiger Droppings on the recruiting board and follow it closely. But what appeared to be a class in which we were gonna get Cain, Green, and Thomas it appears we won’t get any of them after the recent OC shite show! Between Sullivan and Joseph I’d hope we could seal the deal with a single Louisiana recruit. But nobody wants to play for these jokes! And Green’s decomit, Cain’s loss of interest, and Thomas going to IMG are all evidence of this.
And to answer your question: Am I still in a bad mood? Seeing as how my alma Mater has #4 talent, #7 money, top 5 facilities, yet its leadership isn’t even top 100, yeah I’m disappointed!

That's a hell of a statement when we are nearly 13 months away from NSD 2019

Do you have any facts, other than Green decommitting, to support your melt?

How exactly is Thomas possibly going to IMG a sign he's not coming to LSU? He's been recruiting guys to come here during the all star season. Do you Twitter? He's all LSU right now.

And for Cain, are you just basing his lack of interest in the article where he talked up Ohio State? Obviously, you do you, but I'm not reading too much into that. This kid is a prize recruit coveted by every team in the country. It's going to be a battle to the end with him.

While our fan base is apoplectic over the coaching hires, it's not seeming to have any affect on recruiting. We're even making up ground with a guy like Grant Gunnell through it all.

But go ahead and melt away if it makes you feel better.

when signing day is 13 months away, how can you get negative? that's just a miserable place that you must want to live in, because it's not rational.
