I have a few questions regarding Young. I know he released a top 6 or whatever last week, but I figured someone around here would be in the know about who the real players are for him.

Is this a can't-miss type of LB? If Garrett jumps on board, are y'all done at LB? Who are the biggest threats to LSU for his services?

Sorry if it's been discussed recently.

I would personally love to have Garrett and Young but the numbers are getting tight. Who knows at this point.

Hes a heck of a football player. Good size to go with great speed and instincts at the LB position. Also is good in pass coverage and is a good tackler. Going to be a really good college player.

Even if we get Garrett, we would still take Young. Garrett is a true MLB, while I see Young as an OLB.

I think UCLA is the biggest threat to us.

we really don't know at this point.

If I remember correctly TAMU and UCLA??? are the major players, but I'd say TAMU right now.

If LSU presses though, it's a different ballgame.

He is a great ballplayer though and has had a hell of a season.

I think we are the biggest threat to us landing him for some reason. Darian Claiborne is looking pretty damn good this year. Don't wanna leave another top linebacker on the board. I think we have to create a spot for KY if there isn't one.

Interesting, thanks. I figured y'all would close up shop after Garrett. A&M sites indicated that we were in the mix. Seemed a little suspect though because I don't think he's even visited.

If LSU wants him it will be very hard for anyone to pull him out of Louisiana, but it seems like A&M is on top as of now.

Personally I think we should make room for him by dropping the kicker but I am not Frank or Les.

Pretty much everything already been touched on above

Yall are in the mix, as well as UCLA as duckie mentioned

KY is very very good. CG is our first priority though

If we press, hes probably going to LSU. However numbers are extremely tight.

Luckily theres going to be time between CG's commitment (hopefully later this fall after his officials) and KY's (NSD) for the coaches to figure out numbers down the stretch

he visited ole miss recently with terrance alexander, also from Curtis. Ole Miss could be in the mix as well with aTm and UCLA.

He did not make it to ole miss last weekend. Terrence is coming this weekend though. I don't know if Kenny is coming with him.

Lsu would accept a commitment from KY in a heart beat if he decided to commit. He is a top priority for us. Forget any other garbage about having to mk room for him.

And to be honest I don't see how we would need to make room either. When Granier transfered it opened up a scholly, which Fruge currently has, but with him being a senior it will be back open. Plus having Young take Graniers spot is an upgrade. I like the idea of having both Young and Garrett. Just sick.
