I think the crystal ball thing only adds to some the drama with recruits (especially this year).. kids would see the trend and troll just to mess with insiders

yep.. the smoke with Brown was he was an EE and a so-called LSU lock but we couldn't get him to commit (remember).. the smoke with Willis was; well there was no smoke there.. just fire because he straight up said he like the gators.. same with speedy.. these kids were letting us know..we just chose to think or hear differently. so when i hear young likes UCLA alot; i will choose to believe him

The CB is BS. LSU actually seems to have gained some ground with Young. Due wouldn't return our calls for awhile and now hes visiting. I like our chances better now than last week.

meh. I'm cool this year without an extra backer since we still have a bunch yet to take any meaningful snaps, plus we got our ace in Garrett. Dupre I'm also starting to feel meh about considering we still have RS freshman and sophomores yet to take a snap, plus we got 3 WRs already. Don't forget, there are still a shite ton of talented WRs we can pluck from next class.

One thing about Kenny Young is that he has never led LSU on about where he is going to attend college, and is doing his homework. I understand he has visited LSU on unofficials many times and not yet on an OV. That's a little concerning because I'm not sure you get the same access and information from the coaches (I may be wrong there), and most importantly no Texas do Brasil....seriously if KY says he knows all about LSU he needs to know, it could go two ways, he'll go to LSU unless another school blows him away OR maybe he's made his mind up that going OOS is what he wants to do. He seems to doing due diligence, our coaches need to do their job of selling the program.
As for the KY/MD package deal, I think its an insult to both players to infer that they're making a major life decision based on each other, even more considering they are on opposite sides of the ball. I think friends/teammates traveling together on an OV is one thing, committing is something very different. Look at SN and GW3 - they supposedly regularly tweeted they wanted to play together, and look what happened. They picked the school based on an individual decision.
We may get both, we may go 1 for 2, and we may lose both. I certainly hope they both pick LSU, but LSU needs to sell itself on what THEY can offer each player, and we as fans need to stop worrying about what other schools are trying to do. UCLA will be UCLA, it's different, doesn't means it is a better situation.
But I DO hope they pick LSU!
