You could make a strong case he was the best rb to ever wear the purple and gold.

I believe Dalton was the best RB ever!!!

Cecil the Diesel I think would have been the best ever but we all know what happened there.

If you ever get to see a highlight video of Dalton at LSU it will blow away any high school video you will ever see. Think about it... better video against SEC competition.

I played against Patterson. I saw Derace James and Ed Dangerfield play. Patterson was the biggest baddest mother frickers I have ever seen play football. There has never been a mascot that more accurately described a team than the Patterson Lumberjacks. They were fricking scary. But, after we got our arse whipped at Patterson, some of the guys on our team jumped the fence into the cane field and broke us off some cane for the ride home. That's why I was surprised that there was no sugar cane in the photo.

they just recently offered him and he wondered why they showed no interest in him

He is only going to be a junior. LSU isn't going to throw offers around just so they can say "hey we offered you when you were 15, you must not be important to all of these other schools that are waiting so long."

while tennesse, minesota, auburn and others have been visiting, calling and writing

So he is wondering why LSU hasn't been breaking rules in their recruitment of him?
