The guy deleted all his pictures in other teams uniforms except the LSU ones. Not sure if this is a sign.

Vol said we can’t possibly be in a better spot for him so that’s pretty good. Would be awesome to get his commitment this weekend

I’m almost certain that he commits soon as well as another DLman and OLman. Very soon. You can just feel it with Milton though and once that domino falls I think some OLman will follow then DLman. Just my hunch.
You could feel it with Toles also. I knew it wouldn’t be long with him and I think the next safety will soon follow who I think will be the Alford kid. Would love Ransom and I hope that actually happens but I just think one of the others commits first and he’s left out. Now there could be some switching at some point but that’s the way it looks right now.

Would love to lock Milton up. Kinda cool how all the top RB recruits seem to be looking at LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Bama. Regardless, we have been looking at multiple RB options.

Kid may just be respectful. May not want to disrespect LSU with all the other pix on his instr. Or maybe we are in on kid.

Accidentally downvoted you but yeah man this class is so ridiculous we are literally gonna have to turn away good talent some instate at that!

In no way is it a bad thing.
Social media has been shown to be a great indicator of where a kid will commit/sign.
Love to see a commit this weekend.

The fact that we’re plucking highly rated kids all over the country should tell everyone what direction we’re headed. There is an excitement around the program that’s been missing for years.

IDK what this means, but if it is an indicator that he will go to LSU, then I am speechless. Orgeron bringing in a top 10 oline and dline to go with these skill players will get LSU closer to competing with bama and Clemson. It's amazing how this class is shaping up and O has not won the first championship at LSU yet. Can you imagine what kind of class he will bring in once he does win a Natty or even an SEC championship? Mindboggling!!!

Well those teams just happen to be churning out first round talent at that position. If LSU can show the country that it can actually develop these QBs and Burrow has an outstanding season this upcoming season, improving while under our staffs guidance, I think it will have a very similar affect on that position.
That is something that I’ve been waiting to happen for a very very long time. Even with Saban, he liked those smart game managers with his defense doing the damage and his offense pounding you into submission with the occasional smart play through the air. I don’t think that style will ever change at LSU nor do I think it should. We should always have a power run scheme but you can still mix the spread read option with it. Auburn proved that.
With Burrow being able to run more and with the young gun (I’ll call him the OC in waiting bc that’s what he is tbh) we will be able to mix it up with some new style of CFB along with some old school pound the rock when needed. I don’t think LSU should throw away the I-formation or the 2 TE sets. I think we just need to mix it up more and be much more aggressive and drop some balls on these other teams. Use those big physical WRs in the power run game. Use the pass as an extension of the run game with some aggressive blocking to go along with it. When you send 5 wide out there, you will either have 4 to 6 DBs or run quick routes underneath to exploit the lack of quickness of the defender who is out there. That’s is how we will beat a team like bama and some of these other teams like Clemson.
Until we get those big road graders across the OL I would be throwing the football and burning those DBs or LBs. Then when you have them gassed a bit turn to the old Iform with some PA to boot. That’s how you get a team like bama on the ropes and thinking instead of playing aggressive. Clemson whipped up on bama in this way last year. You can’t be scared to call big plays downfield or pass for 3 consecutive downs. Stay confident and aggressive while they look around at each other’s like WTF is going on? We bama, this isn’t supposed to happen but it is. When you got them thinking a bit then go to some old school plays but keep mixing it up. Never stop no matter what the score says.
That’s something else I’ve always had an issue with. Once we get a lead it’s as if the game plan is suddenly changed and once you do that you can give momentum right back to your opponent. One big play can change the whole complexion. Stay with the game plan. If that means the score is now 72-0 so be it. Take your starters out and play your game. That’s just how I would run things. If they can’t stop me, I’m damn sure not stopping myself. I’m not going to all of a sudden start running the football every down simply because I now have a 21 point lead. That can change in a hurry in today’s game. Still mix it up and let someone throw the football. Maybe get more creative but still play aggressively but smart aggressive. Throw more out of the backfield, run more fakes, run some draw plays, throw to your TE on some short routes. Just slowly move the ball but you don’t have to run run pass all of a sudden.
Damn I got way off subject here but not turning back now. Things need to change at LSU on offense and maybe some on defense also. More personnel than anything else on D. It’s starting to show that LSU is truly committed to changing things within this program and it’s refreshing to see it slowly come together. I knew it wouldn’t happen over night. If we have a 12-1 type of season in 2019. Watch out on the recruiting trail. Send us out west again while y’all at it.
I’ll take the Atlanta area also. We finally recruiting hot beds where previous teams momentum has cooled a bit (USC) and the east coast. That Baltimore, DC, Philly area is loaded with talent. We win big this team, if I’m O, I’m expanding my recruiting arms immediately. I’m going to stay on the east and west coast, Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and dig in around Georgia, Florida and the Carolina’s. I’m getting deep into some Northern Territory as well. Shoot they have success in the south why can’t we go up there for a WR, QB, OT, OG, DE, LB, NT or big TE? Hire some more damn analyst so we can stay ahead of these guys in the offseason and during it. We have the recruiting board all made up 8 deep in all positions and our game plan is ready 2 weeks prior to the actual game week. Have all our positions coaches info they need with some ways to exploit then perfect it during game week.
Miles just didn’t understand this concept but it looks like O gets it. He’s hired a few for a trial run then said well frick this let’s get more with better skills while we at it. This season will be the most consistent season we’ve had since Saban was here. We will have a 2nd year QB, veteran offense and defense with depth, young talent at positions they can start right away like RB and WR. Veteran coaches who have been here consecutive years while adding a new young gun assistant who has new ideas for this team. Ok I’m out. Good luck Tigers!
