Honestly think the lb from starkville decommits and this commitment is just prematurely addressing that.
LSU is in it with Starks and the kid from Hawaii was definitely interested.

I don't know why people are worried or celebrating class rankings at this time of the year when it can dramatically change, for better or for worse. As most peoples classes aren't closed to being filled, players move up and down the rankings etc
Georgia will have a top class, but its ranked much lower due to lower number of commits. MSU has a high rated class which could get better or worse depending on how it ends up but its up there because of more commits as of now
Everyone needs to settle down
Great pick up! I trust Aranda as should everyone else

Someone notify the football staff ASAP, this could be a deal breaker......
This was a knock on ESPN, not the kid or the coaching staff, but nice try. I watched his highlights, I think he is a good football player.

Yeah, I think at some point in time that kid will bail and go to State. He declared when Handy declared for LSU and has been on the watch list ever since.

It is funny knowing that you're just as much of a dumbass as he is

Why is everyone celebrating/worrying over class ranks in June?

Because people have said for the last 2 years that 2019 LA Class was LOADED and we would challenge for the #1 Class.

everyone on here said class rankings didn't matter last cycle though. just curious why it's different this year? not trying to flame.

McCallum's film makes you feel bad for every person he hits

If we take care of business it "should" be a top 5 class easy, but it will come down to how we finish the regular season and how we close towards signing day
Looks very solid so far, I just won't panic/celebrate at this point of time. Every year classes change dramatically as kids pick schools not expected, schools pick up major surprises
If that makes sense

Yes, but as stated above, for 2018 the class ranking didn’t matter, now it does.

Do you people not understand it is an aggregate of all the players we have? Our average player ranking is 14th out of the top 15. We just have more players committed than most people right now.
As other teams get players to commit, our ranking will drop like a rock in water.
I like a lot of players in our class. Stingley and Kardell are going to be elite 3-year, 1st round kind of guys, but we have some questionable additions that had weak offer lists.

Imagine that, people on an LSU recruiting board talking about recruiting. AND it isn't all negative. The end of the world must be near.

If we had the #20th class right now, there would numerous threads bitching about recruiting.
It's summer. The only thing there is to follow right now is recruiting.

Oh my apologies, I should have read deeper into your sentence of “He doesn’t even have a profile on ESPN” and realized it meant “I watched his highlights. I think he is a good football player.”
Don’t know what I was thinking applying your sentence to the other critical posters who only star gaze. My sincerest apologies, I in no way wanted to trigger you to the point of using emojis of flipping the bird.
