This is not the Kansas NCAA investigation I was hoping would happen.

Pretty telling of the state of the Kansas football program. Allegedly cheating and still terrible. Les has an uphill battle ahead

This really is all coming together to bring Les Miles back to LSU as AD.

Why does everyone say this? I am a big les miles fan, and hated to see him go personally, but what qualifications does he have to be an athletic director? I hope y’all know that position requires more than just public appearances and press conferences.

What are they going to do? Self report, forfeit 3 scholarships and self-impose a bowl ban? Hell, they were only able to get 18 signees last year and haven't been to a bowl game in 10 years.

I'm not saying that I think he should be the next athletic director or that he is qualified necessarily but it has been somewhat common for decades for former head coaches to take over as athletic directors following their careers as coaches and I would not be shocked if it happened at LSU.

What qualifications do you think Miles lacks in comparison to Skip Bertman or the many other former head coaches at major programs that are, or have been, athletic directors around the country?

The ability to speak in a way that people can understand.

Meh....very low expectations at this point.
Hell coach 5 years and leave the program stable and clean.
Whos his OC? Those fams cant imagine what frustration is yet.

Les is not qualified to be an athletic director.

But Joe Alleva is hardly the role model of an effective athletic director who serves as a good advocate for a school's athletic program.

Hopefully, Kansas can hire a better AD than Alleva, or better yet, hire Alleva away from LSU, but we can't be that lucky.

What made Skip qualified other than better speaking abilities than Les? haha

Not that Les would be my first choice, take him over Joe no doubt, but to write someone off because I guess you have the credentials to determine if someone is qualified is laughable

I feel bad for Les who is in a tough job and past recruiting violations makes it harder.
