Eh, although disappointing, I can at least respect a kid that gives LSU the forewarning that he has opened up his recruitment with almost 2 years to go.
The kids who do this kind of thing a week or two from signing day are another story entirely.

do you think this has anything to do with edwards spouting off that lsu football might not happen.

I think there's also the fact of all the Miles rumors at the end of the season and potential for instability as well

He will be back, just exploring all options. He pulled the trigger to soon as all of these kids do when they commit is a Fr in highschool.

Can we get an official anchor or ban for all non current year recruiting news? Between teens that are battling acne and tweeting about their emotions or lack of respect being shown by coaches in between home economics and lunch period...why keep funneling and investing in the drama saga that is 90210/One Tree Hill recruiting?
I think most people agree current year recruiting is more than enough emotional investment...and the only reason these kids have a platform to begin with is because of this site and others giving them a following.
Not a personal attack on Watkins...more so on all these 15-17 year olds that already talk about their 3 year college path before going pro, their new updated weekly top 5, etc. etc.

At this point, does it really matter? LSU could very well still be in the hunt. Win some games, and show an improved offense and he could very well still be a Tiger.
I'd rather have a kid uncertain now, and let LSU explore their options than to pull a Fowler at the last minute.
