Just a quick reminder: LSU is ranked number 1 in the 2024 class!

Lots of quality commits and plenty of crystal balls for highly ranked 4 and 5 stars.
The 2024 class has a chance to be number 1 when it is all said and done from the looks of things.

Careful. Notre Dame fans were saying the same thing this time last year too.

Notre Dame also had a season in which they lost to Stanford and Marshall with a preseason top ten ranking with an inexperienced head coach. LSU should finish out strong with this class and overall season come 2023-24.

Alabama will finish 1 with Georgia 2.

You do realize it’s super early, not trying to bring bad news

Because they finish top two almost every year. A&M bought their way to #1 last year and Alabama solidified their already #1 this year by saying, let’s go get the last remaining 5* on the board right before signing day. Even higher NIL money didn’t persuade them otherwise

So? We got their 5 star from last year and Denver Harris

We are in the range to compete with good coaching and a few key transfers. Hell we beat Alabama this year.

Just a quick reminder: is December in 2022

This is true. I trust after a couple cycles and some more wins, Kelly will have the big time recruits knocking at the door. We have quite a few now but we will have the numbers like Bama and UGA pretty quick. Idk if it will be as quick as next season but I’m hoping so.

Not sure what you are looking at, On3 has us 7th I believe for 2024 right now.
Not saying we wont finish top 5 but don't see it right now, of course this year isn't even finished yet

Agree on that. Colin Simmons, name to remember for next season’s recruiting class.

quote:I've realized recently that Alabama's coaching has been lacking the last few years. Saban is old and discipline is slipping partly because of NIL and transfer portal. They always get elite talent, but is it performing to the best? Their coordinators aren't getting the most out of them either IMO.

I'll take LSU's carefully crafted classes with Kelly's discipline and coaching against Bama's stacked classes any day after watching the first battle take place a couple months ago.

I had no idea that although Hurley is an outstanding recruit and super motivated that he possessed these level measurables ( or close) yet. Wow..

He's been clocked at throwing a ball 61 mph. As a comparison, Patrick Mahomes tied the NFL Combine record in 2017 by throwing a ball 60 mph. The physical traits on Hurley are astounding at 6-foot-1, 213 pounds and already running a 4.8 40-yard dash

Yea he looks ready to go right now. Stupid talented.

Getting Simmons, a 5 star edge would be huge.
