Anyone that can significantly improve their draft status needs to stay.

Lots of early departures are bad, bad decisions.

Geaux Tigers.

Very good comparison.

It’s so tiresome to see the people on here who claim every junior should leave / will leave. LSU and the NFL both give the families information on the cost of being drafted lower than the second round. Most kids and their families take that information and make good decisions. Some don’t - just like every other person on the planet, some people ignore good advice. Bottom line - there will be a mixture of good and bad decisions, and everyone will have to live with it.

WTF haha.

He's a perfect OLB in the new NFL. Absolutely perfect.

Phillips isn't fast enough to be in the first 2 days of the draft. At this point, more like the 5th round. If he can improve his speed, he needs to come back and do it. He looked slow on the reverse where he had a great angle and that very fast Clemson WRer made him look like he wasn't even moving.

Stevens needs to come back and make the transition to LB.

Or that. If he sticks at his current build and style, he’s a safety in the pros, but he could make the switch if he returns.

He’s still a bit light and he can’t cover RBs and TEs well. He got beat a couple of times again Monday. He needs to get better in coverage no matter where he plays or he can’t stay on the field. A situational guy doesn’t get drafted high. Getting better in coverage makes him more of a any down guy, and they do get drafted high.

We ALWAYS have about 4 or 5 that go and shouldn't go. It's been factually proven over decades that they shouldn't go, but they do it anyway.

Saban makes close to $10 million a year. Easy (and very self serving) for him to say dont go unless 1st round pick

Or it would be stupid to turn down an extra 10-20 million from being an early round pick.

Queen is the kind of LB that a lot of NFL teams are looking for. He will no doubt put up great numbers at the combine. Probably a round 2 or 3 pick

staying an extra year could hurt ones draft stock just as easily as help it. The NFL is projecting a players NFL potential when picking a player not how good a college player they can be

Phillips - 3-6th rd (depends on how he runs at combine but could be a sure fire second round pick next year)

Queen - 3-4th rd (Could elevate to late first round with more refining).

Logan - 4-6th rd (could elevate to 2-3 rd pick easily next year)

Charles - likely UDFA (needs to stay clean or NFL won’t touch him)

Cush - 3-5th rd (solid year next year could push him into the first center taken)

All can drastically improve their stock.

Only 11 Seniors, so we will need some attrition.

Selfishly, I just hope we don't have guys leave that end up in the late rounds or not drafted!
