Was considering LSU for a while but it seemed to be a Nebraska v A&M battle now. He was set to announce Sunday, but Taylor Hamm couldn't wait. He spilled the beans to the Ags in a VIP discussion.
This sickens me the kid worked hard to have his moment spoiled by immature adults who need validation for having sources

Wouldn't expect anything else from Hamm.

How OLD is Hamm?
He keeps doing things that make me assume he is about nine...

I disagree wholeheartedly. The recruiting and announcement process has become nothing more than glorified showboating for teenagers.

I wish the announcements would be this benign all of the time.

It still wasn't Hamm's right to go public with it!

He worked hard for a scholarship and potential pro career. If he's devastated that Hamm let the cat out of the bag then he's in this for the wrong reasons

So he's going to announce for Nebraska while he's on campus at A&M? That seems a bit much.
That's not his plan but maybe after the BBQ? Or maybe he doesn't show up now?

Should have kept his decision to himself.

While I think we all agree some recruits take their announcements and their theatrics/tricks way too far, we cannot judge Josh Moore based on their actions. Some kids play games, lie to schools, and purposefully deceive to pander for attention, but not all.

I do believe most of the kids work their butts off, and are good kids. Lots of which are the first to ever go to college in their family, and could not afford to go to school without the aid of the athletic scholarship. For these kids, they deserve their moment. There is a way to take your moment in the sun respectfully, to acknowledge and celebrate your hard work, the opportunity, and be grateful to your college of choice, bringing some positive publicity to the university in gratitude for granting a scholarship.

This was a low class move, but I am not in the least bit surprised by this from Hamm. Not all kids follow recruiting the way that some of us do, and do not know automatically that Hamm is bottom of the barrel slime.

Good luck to Josh, and Hamm can eat a bag of d^cks.

It could have stayed in the VIP discussion though, right? It seems you piggybacked spoiling the kid's surprise by starting this thread.

Saw a clip on Twitter last night and it definitely seemed like he was wearing A&M gloves in a teaser.

Too bad other recruits can't punish Hamm by not confiding in him in the future.

But hey, since this is not an LSU commitment is it really that big a deal?

Isn't his brother already committed to A&M?? If so, I would expect him to commit to A&M.

But really I could care less, I wish the kid the best of luck and apologize for some idiot ruining his commit party, but in all honesty WR is a position that LSU stays loaded at and the only big fish that they really want that's out there is Marshall.
