The term "mauler" is sometimes used loosely when discussing OL. With Boutte, I think it is spot on.

To all you recruiting guru's: Do y'all think any of these early commits will be rated 4 *'s or higher when the ratings come out later?

IMO he and Brazil are 4*, while the others are 3*.

Probably. I don't see Cutrer, Baker and White being over 3* considering they're all extremely raw. Can they later in the year? Maybe. Raymond and Louis were guys not highly rated until they started going to camps.
If they get properly evaluated they'll probably move up. Scout/247 will probably rate LSU the highest by end of the recruiting class.
Simmons on 247 loves Boutte's film btw.

Brazil and Boutte are the obvious 4* guys. Haven't seen enough of Baker to say but from what's available, 3*. Keep an eye on White. His film is pretty good and it will depend on the evaluator. If the evaluator sees ceiling and rates that then I could easily see White as a 4*. Cutrer is a 3* for now but by the end of the cylce he'll be a 4. The early rankings are usually very bare by every site because more kids get out in the spring/summer for the analysts to see. As a fan I like it but as an evaluator I would hate it but every site is putting out rankings way earlier than in years past because of demand and the hyperrushed recruiting cycle . There will be a ton of mistakes good and bad in evaluations early this year because people are rushed to put out rankings to keep up with demand. That will lead to rush judgements and incomplete evaluations. Patience will be required with rankings until the ones that come in the summer.
