For the fact Johns would be getting a greyshirt, they obviously aren't close talent wise. I would rather not want him and risk giving him a scholarship later on

Les Miles really needs to stop wasting schollies on these 2-star scrubs that in all likeliness will never see any PT.

I know the Johns Family. He got offered a scholarship and I think he will be one helluva a LSU Tiger. I dont appreciate hearing negatigers talking crap about a fine young man who I am hoping with hard work will be the next Craig Steltz. If you watch his highlights he shows qualities of a Craig Steltz type player. He and his family are such diehard LSU fans that he is willing to take a grayshirt to be part of this team. I remember many 2 star and 3 star recruits who turned out to be awesome LSU players.

I keep wondering that. Daniels is the specific one I was thinking about. I don't know if we'll ever have another Laron (though Loston has a chance).

Johns could be the next Jesse Daniels.

Also agree people need to stop being so negative. Sounds like here's a guy that's willing to make sacrifices to be a Tiger.

LSu, I think he's got the tools. Don't worry about the personal flame on me from Max. The kid is almost identical to Steltz on paper. I hope for one you're right, Steltz, Landry whatever.
