Him and Tyrion Davis would be Nick Chubb/Sony Michel, but better.

Better than any back on our roster right now and it isnt close.

Just tell the boy he will be starting day 1. Sell it, package it, get it done.

I will legitimately feel as if we have completely failed recruiting wise if we fail to get this talent in our backyard. He will start at Georgia by his sophomore year. Holyfield and Herrien and White arent starting over this kid once Swift is gone.

Anyone who thinks he is sitting outside a possible redshirt freshman season, they are delusional.

Only chance we have is if we convince him that starting from day 1 is better in his interests than waiting a year. Zamir is not as talented as this kid.

I actually agree with all of this. I said previously that he, at least to me, was the best or tied for the best back (Cam Akers) in the last several classes I've seen.

Thing is, even if he is that good, no way does he get enough carries over at UGA year one compared to LSU. They have just way too much talent, and Zamir White isn't even playing because of injury.

We need to stay on this kid all the way until he signs a LOI

This is not true and no one player makes or breaks a recruiting class.

You say that, but without Fournette in 2014 and Guice in 2015, we wouldn't have had an offense. Those players did make or break those classes.

If I were an elite running back recruit early playing time would not sell me to a school. I would want some carries but 3 years of being the man is too much wear and tear.

Case in point would be how Bama running backs never seem to live up to collegiate resumes. Give me 10-15 carries a game and I would be fine.

That being said, Georgia seems to be using that recruiting strategy and its obviously working.

More like Reggie Bush and Lendale White.

That's not a good comparison at all. Bama doesn't really wear their backs out either. That have so many good ones on their roster they can give carries to multiple backs just like LSU. Bama backs problem's are they have an outstanding o-line to run behind every year and when they get to the NFL that's not necessarily the case.

If he wants 15-20 touches a game he’ll come to LSU. If he wants to redshirt or maybe 5 touches a game he’ll go to UGA. It’s just a matter of if he wants to ease himself in slowly or blow it up immediately. There is no better opportunity for playing time than right here in his backyard. But if for some reason he loathes LSU and specifically does not want to be a Tiger, and doesn’t want to rep The Boot, then Tiger bait.

Agreed. Why he would despise being here is telling upon our current situation as a program.

Who do we point the finger at, collectively?

I don’t point the finger at anybody. I let it play out. I want to see what happens between the lines. I’m not conceding anything to anybody after week two of 2018. Even at our highest points we have lost Louisiana kids . And I’m not going to let the decision logic of an 18 year old be a determining factor .

He’s not coming to LSU. Move on. If not UGA, he’s gonna end up somewhere in the West.

I watched Cain, Emery and Davis highlights this morning. Emery has The edge over Davis imo. It’s close, though. Both have the speed and the vision. In fact, the only edge I give Emery is that he is a more imaginative runner in the open field.

Cain is every bit as good as Emery except he has less speed and acceleration. Those are the difference between good and great.

If we get Davis and Cain I’ll be very happy, and RB won’t be the reason if we don’t win championships.

I heard tidbit today that Sanders has interest in LSU. Can’t lie I am not sure of kids ability but did hear hemwasmranked number 1RB. Anyone know about his abilities or overblown?

Exactly! I couldn't agree more. It's always a bonus to have a break-away player on your team and the more you can get the bigger the bonus. But, regardless how many break-away players you have on offense, the steak and potato's will always be coordination/scheme and an Oline that can win 60 percent of their battles with the best teams in the country. From what I've seen so far this season, LSU doesn't have either of those things right now. Losing Emery will not affect LSU's W/L record in the least. There are plenty of good solid backs in this class that can be 1000 yard rushers if LSU gets the other 2 things corrected. There has been very few RB's that I have seen in my entire life that could gain yards with a mediocre Oline. LSU with Jacob Hester at RB won a NC. LSU with Fournette and Guice couldn't even win a SEC title, nor could they beat Sabama. Ty Davis is a very good back and he has the potential to be a very good back in the SEC. LSU needs a lot more quality Olinemen more than they need a superior running back. Derek Henry wasn't a superior back, he was no Fournette or Guice. But because they had a quality Oline and a great scheme, he sets records and wins the Heisman. I'd much rather Ray Parker or another high quality Olineman go to LSU than Emery. Like I said, Ty Davis can get the job done, but nobody can without a good Oline. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have Emery at LSU, but if he doesn't come I will not mourn.
