No offense to the other 2 backs(Cain, Davis) but he’s my favorite back out the 3. I wish we could take all 3 but that’s unrealistic. Hopefully we can get Emery and Cain.

Emory is my favorite as well, but I think Davis is underrated. He can run and catch incredibly well for 6’1 230

I was blasted earlier this week for echoing the same sentiment.

I saw Bama offered him this week.

I'd hate to see him go to Bama. He's my favorite of the trio.

but why? Commentary would be interesting.

For what it’s worth, my daughter goes to school with him and he is ALL LSU. Obviously my daughter doesn’t even know what a “tailback” is but that’s what’s floating around DHS.

I actually like Davis over Cain. Take Emery and Davis.

Catches well, shows burst through holes, good vision, shifty but able to get tough yards, legs always moving after contact.

Watching his film he just stands out. No knock on the others.

Davis is my favorite but I want Emery in the class badly. I'd love to have Davis and Emery. I'd actually prefer that over Davis/Cain

They’ve talked to Davis, Cain, and Emery about all 3 going to LSU and all were receptive to the idea. We might not have to exclude one to get the other two

Been saying it for a while now. He's my 2nd favorite RB since Guice to come out of high school

You would think that he would have gotten an invite to the elite junior day at LSU. It sure don't look good that Cain and Davis was there and he was left out.

He got an invite but went to Michigan instead. Supposedly that visit had been planned for months and he didn't want to go back on his word to their staff.

But his mom still went to LSU's elite junior weekend without him.

Thanks for the info. I just found it odd he wasn't there. It says a lot about the kids character not goin back on his word though. Just hate to see him get away.

I really want him and Cain at Auburn. Both of those dudes are beasts.

Isn't Cain the highest-rated of the three? If we're pursuing a top rated class should we go for the highest rated players regardless of ability? I've been told on this forum the star ratings are what really matters

Cain and Emery is what i want and many others.

I believe we all can agree that Davis and Cain would be a great haul nonetheless and be very happy with them both or with Emery in tow with them if he sto chooses.

Cain, Davis, Emery. Any 2 of those 3, or all 3, might see the advantage of playing together. As the 2016 season proved, two backs at LSU can both be very productive in Ensminger's offense. Sharing the rock also means preserving their body - while still in development - for a longer and more prosperous NFL career.
