this, could just mean we are getting played. Get hopes up for Emery, thus having Cain reconsider, Emery plays us and pulls out on signing day and we lose both
I don't put anything past Sabin and Smart may have picked up this trick from Sabin

It’s looking good baws. We have a lot of momentum with Emery rt now. It’s been all hands on deck for the past 2 months. There is A TON of pull coming from many folks for this kid. He wanted to see the offense, he did and he likes it. We’re in a great spot is exactly what I’m hearing

We can thank the relentless NeverO poison spewing for Papa Emery’s viewpoint. Who wants their kid to play for a coach called Special Ed by the fan base? Burying our coach and players became a sick obsession for these internet idiots!
You can bet that the obsessive posting of the NeverOs has had an impact on recruiting far beyond Emery as well.

but we have limited spots and other needs plus some good backs in the 2020 class. Ideally we get 2 out of the 3 with the 3rd one choosing another school without us having to pull the offer. You recruit Emory all the way to the end. Ideally he doesn't drag it out to long. It would be in his best interest as well as ours.

I was saying this for a long time as there is a lot of evidence, plus just plain common sense, points to it being true, however always got attacked for stating the obvious about this by the large contingent of O haters
