I can’t wait until all the recruiting insiders on the board come out. They have been missing for awhile.

Someone needs to have Etling and Mett come tell him the benefits of transfering to LSU.

Transfer + LSU = Draft

Welcome to the "free agent" grad transfers market. It could help a coach avoiding being on a hot seat.

if your staff says and does the right things this weekend Christmas could come early this year at LSU.

The fact they want this guy so bad should tell you how much confidence they have in both those guys in your post. They would not risk one transferring out if they thought their future was with them. Neither was good in spring.

This guy would probably come in and start immediately soon as he picks the offense up. It's a short term bandage though. I'm not sure how much it would help recruiting if he's 1 and done. LSU needs to develop their own QB for a change. They haven't done that since Flynn. The rest of the QBs who had success here were transfers from different systems.

Neither Brennan nor Narcisse are lost causes. They're second year guys with obvious reasons not to be fully developed - Brennan because he's still not 200 pounds yet and Narcisse because he missed two whole seasons in high school.

They both need another year. Burrow coming is an aid to their development, not a hindrance. If they're smart they'll see that. But if one transfers, so be it - the other will be the QB of the future.

The guy who probably ought to go if Burrow comes in and wins the job is McMillan, and while I feel for him I didn't see a lot in the spring game which showed me he's accurate enough to be an above average SEC quarterback.

Not saying they are just saying right now they don't think they can win with them. That's why they have to take a risk on one transferring by going after Burrow.

I like Brennan, Narcisse, and McMillan. However, it would be great news to get Burrows to LSU. I think he is good enough to play in the SEC, and win big games at LSU.

Coach O needs to win now and with the most daunting schedule in college football Coach O can't risk playing a qb who he doesn't think is ready. If LSU has a bad/mediocre year Coach O is probably gone.

Would be really ironic if Cincinnati was famous for kielbasa.

he does have to be enrolled in grad school. full time is far less classes than undergrad, though.

Full time in grad school is 9 hours. So, it is one hour less than full time as an undergrad, which is 12 hours, but a grad student goes on academic probation if their cumulative grad gpa drops below 3.0.

I’d expect Burrow to be completely fine.

If this were to happen, how likely is it that it causes division amongst the team and either LN or MB transfers out?

I really hope not. Brennan can be a stud, but I just don’t think he’s ready yet. And as it stands right now, I think LN will be the starter in 2019, if he doesn’t push for the starting gig this season.

I’m a McMillain fan, so I’d hate his being the odd man out this season, but I think he’d be the top backup if Burrow comes and wins the job. McMillain would still be in the competition for this year, due to knowing the LSU coaches and system, but he’d also be only one play/injury away from hitting the field.
