Impressed with his videos. Surprisingly good arm and touches on his passes which is actually something a lot of HS QB's struggle early on in college. Just curious, how do you guys feel he compares to T Bridgewater? I would say randall is faster, although Teddy could be a better runner. In terms of arms and QB intangibles though, I think Randall is slighly better with power/touch, while Teddy is more accurate thoughts?

Wish we would have gotten Teddy....there had to be room for the intangibles he brings to the table.

So he would come here and enroll and participate in summer practice? Or is this a kid that would go against next years class?
CLearly he should be ahead of JJ and JL and Mett on the depth chart....

Teddy has Vince Young written all over him

been wondering how LSU can fit him in.

I would prefer Randall over Bridgewater and most of you know how much I like Bridgewater. Bridgewater has the intangibles of Vince, but doesn't have the arm strength or athleticism that Vince possessed (but then again, how many QBs ever have besides Vick?)
Randall has a better arm than Bridgewater does and has a bigger build than Bridgewater, making him more ready for a full SEC schedule

He would make a great counterpoint to Rivers.

Whast the chances of thsi even happeneing?
You guys are talking as if Randall is locked to come here.
From reading this thread its all speculation.

Gonna depend on this weekend. If he winds up visiting, he's more than likely ours. If he doesn't, his academics didn't meet the requirements

I've heard next weekend and this weekend....which is it?
Oh and the coaches might be looking more into why he attended 4 HS in 4 years. Thats if he is right in saying he is qualified.

So sources out of his camp says that LSU is leading?
adn SOurces out of BR say that we want this kid?
I just find it hard to beleive that we take 3 Qb's this class with so many schollie issues.
Unless JJ or JL one leaves after Spring.

From what I heard he is eligible but I think they think he may have future academic issues and don't want to deal with it. 2¢

All he tweeded was "LSU". Sounds to me like he was saying "I'm at LSU this weekend".

3 QBs in this class will work if they only plan to take one in the 2012 class

I also think Randall is better than Bridgewater and I was a big fan of Teddy, good point on the physical stature too, he is more SEC ready. I hope we can reel him in bc he's a talent whether at QB or WR he could be successful, just depends on him. He is a good compliment to Rivers down the road, unless someone believes he could play sooner
PS It's a shame Oregon couldn't get this guy, is he not the perfect fit for oregon's offense, geez

Oregon HAD him if THEY wanted. There is a reason they don't now. This kid has loved Oregon for sometime. I am curious as to why they let him go.
