As far as Jeremy Hill my 2 cents which don't equal crapola............How the hell do you not know when LSU's Junior day is?? especially when A)you live in Baton Rouge B)your teammate is La'El Collins who is also committed to LSU knows and is going?? and C) tells people as of last night he will be at LSU on saturday instead of going to Bama, but still ends up there.

Are we doing something different for the spring game this year with Wilson as the RC? I haven't seen anything to suggest it is any different than any other year. The staff will not have time to meet with players the way they are today.

Rasco is the least of my worries about even thinking about going to Alabama... the moment he looks at how they use their linebackers in their 3-4 scheme, he'll bolt... that's not the system he is needed to be used in at all... in fact I think a 3-4 is only intriguing to big nose tackle run stuffers and linebackers

I agree, that was odd.

I already said that before...I don't see him ending up in their system. Bama tends to like those huge lineman like LSU has been getting. But LSU has been moving towards more pass rushers past few classes. Montgomery is the only true rush DE right now for us. Ego is fast but hes big too...I think hes more of a SDE. Rasco fits our scheme perfect and can get immediate PT.

Mingo was moved to DE I think...but he has a looooooooooong ways to go in developing WDE...

THey are hosting a junior day that day, so they will certainly meet with some prospects.

The staff wanted the Junior Day the same as the Spring game because of its advantages. They will get plenty of interaction with the staff and the whole LSU team. Better than going to a basketball game at the end of the day. They will have the same tours and meetings at the end of the day with the coaches.

I see the 27th talked about a lot but I don't think it will be anything like this one.
You're right, it's bigger with more going on.

Well, having a big second junior day is one thing...getting them to come is another.

Just cruised around bamaonline and saw that Tennessee Defensive Back prospect Jabriel Washington is also at this Junior Day.

I don't see a problem with letting guys go to other schools as long as they had a agreement with the coaches. If they're lying, then that is cause for alarm. I also don't mind it as much if they come straight out and tell a coaching staff they're looking at their options...that way we know to get a backup plan early. The good about this is these guys are looking around early...LSU should be aware of it and not stop recruiting top prospects at these respective positions.

If Hill/Landry decide to go elsewhere...then LSU shouldn't have problems jumping on someone else hard. I'm believing that these guys are getting a little shaky because they're national recruits this early in the process...and depth has to start being a concern at sometime. LSU signed 4 WRs in last class and plans for another 3 in this? 3 RBs and 3 for next class already committed...6 in two classes.

You have to wonder if that is in the back of their mind...and all the negative talk surrounding LSU right now. Maybe they're just keeping schools open to the option in case something does happen they don't like. But at least they're doing it early, enjoying the process or weighing their options. Whatever it may be...LSU should be prepared to have decommits anyway. National recruits are obviously going to have the highest probability since they're recruited more. The good news is they're LA prospects...and distance is always a huge factor in favor of the home school.

they are not talking about much here, but they might be later. Here is a link to a Bama thread about their Junior Day.

Didn't you say earlier this week (when the Hill news about Bama went down) that it was something serious because it showed he was looking around? Now a day later you have changed your tune?

Just wondering.

I think he would be a perfect fit for the Jack LB role (the hybrid LB/DE).

Exactly. Saban will sell him on that over playing as a DE at LSU.

Anyone who says Rasco hanging out the best defensive coach in college football isint a big deal, is a retard sunshine pumping koolaid drinking delusional LSU fan and probably said the same about Hunter and Davis last season.
