You know I like who we have so far. I think we should now work getting some needs, and this won't a problem I believe because we aren't giving out too many scholly's. We will be fine.

Sylve is a must take.I don't care how many wrs we have. There's not another player on the team with his kind of speed.Shepard is close but he's probably the only one. He'll be a jr when Sylve comes in so Sylve is the perfect replacement for him.

On official Bama trip Rasco was quoted as,

"Alabama has the best facilities he has seen thus far. Their S&C coach (Scott Cochran) is from Louisiana... like the the way they train each person individually like a personal trainer"

"Their weight room was huge"

"I like Coach Saban"

He's bigger than I thought. Would be nice to have him take over for Marcel Dareus at the DE/DT spot. However, I see him going to LSU in the end.

I would like to see some of the other facilities. I have been throughout all the LSU facilities and it's weightroom is gigantic also.

glad to hear Jermauria has so much interest in the weight room.

I am a big fan of his current Strength & Conditioning Coach:
quote:

"This is something that I've been used to — being involved," (Phillip)Dawson said. "I'm a guy with several titles. I'm the defensive line coach, the defensive coordinator, the strength and conditioning coach. This is the part of the season where I take charge and get involved with the physical part. State championships are won in the offseason and we're putting in the work and getting prepared for a tough schedule next season."

LINK

I have been a long time admirer of Phillip Dawson. He has always had great work ethic and he knows what it takes to win.
I don't know if him being Jermauria's position and strength coach will help LSU get him, but I do know it will make him a better man.

The other coaches there know what he means to their program:
quote:

Byron has been faithful. He's been a real rock here. He's a wonderful football coach. He's a great man

All LSU fans and alumni should be proud of this fine graduate.

This Texas fansite is starting to sound like this board last year on Trovon Reed:

quote:

3/28 -- Some sentiment that the Longhorns may be following behind the Tigers in this race, but Rasco's stock has slipped slightly and his junior film doesn't show any edge rushing at all. Strange that there is no film available of him as a pass rusher after racking up close to 30 sacks as a sophomore.

A little more than a month before they were saying this:
quote:

Excellent edge rusher with advanced technique

they put Texas' chances of signing him at just 20% in this lastest update!

Burnt Orange Nation Big Board Update

a few other players both teams are recruiting also mentioned.

I guess not, he was doubled and tripled last year. I saw him play against STM in Lafayette this year, they should ask for that film!
