A guy here on a B'ham sports radio show said that Jeremy Hill will be walking on at Bama. I know they were trying to get him, but WTF...walking on???

It's all message board rumor right now. He has much biggger unresolved issues for him to even worry about playing ball.

i'm sure the OOS tuition and living expenses would be quite easy for his family to afford

if so, good luck and good riddance.

let's see if i have this right about hill:

- commits to LSU early in the process
- decommits from LSU midway through the process saying he wants to see other schools
- flirts heavily with Auburn and probably ends up there without the legal troubles arising
- tries his best to get Collins to follow him to Auburn, which is probably where most of the Jeff Lee speculation came from
- once legal trouble starts to reveal itself, quickly recommits to LSU to ensure that he has a spot somewhere
- with legal troubles still not past him, he decides his best course of action is to walk on at alabama?

is my recollection about Hill inaccurate here?

Or maybe he can get loans/grants like other college students.

I'm from Louisiana and got instate tuition at Bama by choosing a major that wasn't offered at any Louisiana public universities. International Business Administration. There are plenty of other good majors to choose from too that will get you instate tuition.

Unless those classes come with a defense attorney I'm not sure this kid ever sees a college campus.

This is a great summary of his recruitment process.

Kid may still turn out to be a good player, he is young and all. I am glad he will not be at LSU. Way too much drama and in this instance legal troubles also. Good luck to him, if he resolves the legal issues. Stay away from LSU.

For what it's worth I saw Jeremy Hill at the Rave movie theater this past Saturday afternoon with an LSU football shirt on and an LSU key chain hanging out of his shirt pocket. Oddly enough, he was flirting with a female employee that was sweeping the floors. LOL

None of them are healthy except for Richardson. If he goes down, they are in a world of hurt. Not sure if any of their QB's have thrown more than a few passes in college. Maybe they have a fullback that can tote the ball.

I have a very close friend on the coaching staff at Bama. When I saw your post I texted him to see if this were true. His response "who told you that?, its not true. He's going to LSU"
