I'm shocked, but happy.
This. . .and I am not fully convinced
Are y'all still thinking this could be a Janzen type situation?

No hard feelings, but this whole situation just reaffirmed my severe dislike for LSU fans.
Then I suggest that you stop posting on an LSU message board dumbass.

But after Janzen, I'll won't believe anything until he signs and faxes his letter of intent..

makes since considering i think Hilliard will play LB at LSU
The all-time leading rusher in Louisiana state high school football will not be playing linebacker. he's got soft hands, great reciver out of the backfield and played with a mediocre line in little Patterson, LA and still set records. He will definetly play running back.

True. I dont mind the guy but he really enjoys it too much. Any info he gets is likely 2nd hand. I really doubt our coaches have lengthy conversations about recruiting with our trainers and tells them the dirt on other programs. Im sure he runs across a solid tidbit every now and then, but most people that have inside scoop dont show it off as much as he does.
He's like 20 years old and enjoying a little slice of power and fame on this board.
Most of what he says is correct, though. I think he's an asset. Does he flaunt his newfound position a bit? Yeah. He does.

I know man. Its really disgusting now after its said and done. I have a bad taste in my mouth over some of the GURUs and reliables posters remarks in regards to J Hill. you would think that grown men should know better.
And the kids is a home town kid. he commited before anyone else. And he decommits and looks around and he is slandered and disrespected by suppposedly LSU fans. With friends like that who needs enemies.

Yeah so many cold and hot weather LSU fans need to apologize. it pisses me off when most of you automatically came out and said well we really don't need him because we have so many other ones. What a load of shite. Glad he's back on board.

I'll argue that we don't Need 3 Rbs in this class until I'm blue in the face, but hills not a guy you want to play against, especially being from BR

2 big assumptions there:
1. are they grown men?
2. my experience must be different than yours, because I've found that most grown men don't know better.

Just because he recommitted doesn't mean the gurus were wrong about his mom.
Perhaps some went overboard with the slander, but I can really only think of one poster in particular who made it a point to venomously criticize Hill and his mother. I will not call that poster out, but I hope he learns his lesson.
Memphis and others were apparently wrong about him being a silent to Auburn, that much seems clear. Unless, of course, this really is some sort of JJ-esque gambit, in which case we'd all be beyond pissed.
In this end, it looks like Hill is one of the few who did things the right way. He probably did have a feud with his mother, who wanted him out of Louisiana. He looked around, but unlike others in the past (ahem Luther Davis) he decommitted first. When he had his look around he came back where he belongs, despite his mother. Sounds like a man, to me.

I agree with this. But you know it was accusations that they were gonna pay him money. and thats why he decommited.
I am not saying that AU doesnt have dirty tatics. but never once did J. Hill come out and say he will leaning to AU or Bama. He has always said LSU is still my leader.
And your right about the one Jackass that was way out of line. I get it sometimes we are going to be wrong but keep it clean adn factual as possible. not guesses and rumors. Take thats hit to the Rant.
