I have actually seen things that indicate to me that he IS NOT a motivator of men, which is a trait paramount to squeezing every ounce of talent out of someone…so I don’t agree that the “jury is still out”

Maybe so. But 3 million is still ridiculous for one player if that player isn’t a sure thing, as I stated.
You still have to keep the players you retain happy. You have to pay new players to replace the ones you lost. And if those players are supposed to be better than the ones you lose, then you have to pay more for them..
15 players. He still has 4 spots to fill, and I’m sure that those will come with high price tags
