Congratulations on kind of doing better than a team that received all but the death penalty and has been crippled by sanctions for ten years.

Reed is good, but he would do much better at Auburn. He is not the prototypical type of WR that LSU uses anyway. All of our wideouts are tall and rangy. Trovon would do better elsewhere. James Wright is a much better fit in our system.

he's a solid, ben obomanu type receiver that won't be the difference between any wins and losses. That's the bottom line. What's really hilarious to me is that this is the kind of thing auburn fans have reduced themselves to talking shite about. We just got done spanking you, nay, embarrassing you 2 weeks ago. We've got a better recruiting class, yet again, this year than you, and better receivers already committed to us than you will have even with reed, and there's really no bright spot on the horizon for auburn football. If we decided to turn sam gibson into a WR he'd be just as good as reed seeing as how he's a better athlete.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, congratulations if he picks auburn. But we're still miles ahead of you as a football program. Keep grasping at straws.

If Reed Moves Wright to us,he will be helping our team. Wright is a stud. 6'2" 200 4.5 and state high jump champ. The guy just isn't tackled and a tremendous vertical threat. Reminds me of Dez Bryant. He's much more important than Reed, and physically ready for SEC.

He is not better than Chris Tolliver and what has he done so far at LSU?

This is getting ridiculous. He's much better than Chris Tolliver. Tolliver was a straight line speed guy without near the ability with the ball in his hands that Reed has.

I just ran into the guy at the football game. He's not the kind of guy I talk with every day. He's never given me bad info before and has been right 2 or 3 times whenever everyone else was saying something different.

What have you been told?

I've been out lately.

As an LSU fan, this thread is embarrassing.

No, he's really not. What was Tolliver's average YPC in high school? He's a bigger, faster version of Reed. When was the last time a sub 6' receiver did anything at LSU?

kinda funny that max and I both thought of the same receiver that trovon compares to. That should tell you something. But again, good luck and congrats if the highlight of your football season ends up happening next week.

if I was banking on Trevon Reed turning around my shitty program I'd probably stop before the 5'11 170lb 4.6 part came up too.

I am not going to say that LSU didn't need Reed but in all honesty and probability Louisiana produces enough skill players that letting one or two slip is not that big a deal.

We also don't have to worry after he signs with AU - Well you took the #7 WR #41 Overall and #3 in LA and did diddly squat with him - so I don't have to worry about Reed being a weapon against LSU

Does it really matter if he signs with AU? LSU will always be loaded at WR and we are stacked for next year aleady and we will, per usual, be ranked way ahead of AU.

Sadly, your new coach can't win with average or decent talent the way Tubby could. The joke is on AU.
