I think people here don't realize that the Pac 12 is pretty easily the 2nd best conference.

I wouldn't say they encourage kids to take their time. They don't allow kids to go on visits until after high school football is over, so once the they are allowed to start visiting schools, they have very little time and a ton of pressure. Football at JC is a bigger business than it is as some D1 schools.
