Still 50/50 but if I was betting on it I'll take LSU. But we shall see.

If Hootie wants to be a Tiger as bad as some here suggest maybe he can take a greyshirt. He can sit out the fall semester and report January of 2015 and count against the '15 class.

Hootie will not go to Ole Miss period! I live here in Oxford and no one I speak with "some alumi" thinks there is a shot. A very long shot at best

Yeah right grayshirt man he made a mistake and is having to deal with it. Let it all play out. But seriously, gray shirt?

He won't have to grayshirt...Les is waiting this out....watch our Coach work.....Hootie will be a Tiger if he wants in after the dust settles. ......let's enjoy the ride!

At this point it's his only shot at coming to LSU. Unless someone who has already told the coaching staff they're coming changes their mind.

Idk where all of you guys got this Hootie to ole miss thing but I know Neville has had a past of having players go to ole miss but they also have a past of sending players to lsu I'm telling you Hooties idol is PP7 and he has always been a tiger fan plus his mom wants him to stay home.

Because he is going to Ole Miss.

wow. greyshirt? It would make me sick to see it come to that. and yeah, Hootie kinda screwed himself here, no argument there.
agree, now is not the time to panic. If you're Hootie you sit back and at least wait until Jan 3rd and then call Frank Wilson (and not have a "family friend" do it!!!!!!) and see where everybody is at.
Still a possibility Noil and/or Brown end up at TAMU. If Brown goes there, that's a DB spot opened up I suppose.

We'll see. What I was told came from as good a source as it can get. I'll go with what I was told.

You hit nail right on the head, that's exactly what happened. I kind of feel bad for the kid though I was told he and his mom called Coach Miles to see if his spot was still available. But unfortunately they filled it. I also heard the kid cried like a baby to Coach Miles saying he made a huge mistake and that his heart really was with LSU. But they put the full court press on Adams once Hootie committed to Bama. But someone correct me if I'm wrong I think LSU still has to honor his scholly because he sent in financial papers to Les Miles.
Not sure what you're talking about here. There is nothing binding about a recruit's "commitment" to a school. Until he signs a LOI in February a "commitment" is only a verbal declaration and is NOT binding in any way, either to the school or to the recruit.
Now if the recruit is going to be an EE, new rules allow a recruit to sign papers that bind the SCHOOL to HIM for finacial aid before he enrolls in school (Brandon Harris is the first I know of that has done that for LSU). However, even though he has signed these papers, the recruit himself is NOT bound to the school. He can still change his mind on where he will attend until he actually enrolls in a school.

I like where we are....this recruiting season is turning for our good and it only gets better.

Read what you quoted. He knows that. He was asking about the schools responsibility to the recruit.

I think Noil is a closer race than some think, but if I had to choose I'd say LSU.
I just don't see Brown going to A&M.

Not correcting you, but I would be real surprised if there wasn't an out like LSU has to accept before it's finalized. Given the way the process works, you can't have all these offers out there without some cover.
