What it says is that he hasn't attempted to speak to the LSU staff, although he has had others speak to the LSU staff, which won't work.

Although I wish JJ27 would lend more to this story. He knows something he isn't saying...

I, personally, think it would make for a great storyline to follow, and definitely some "oh shite" thoughts to run through many of minds if Hootie were to just take it upon himself and announce spontaneously at the UAAAG that he's going to LSU.

Edit: if Hootie truly wanted to go to LSU

If Hootie wanted LSU, he would've committed already and the Adams story would be over.

I want them both along with Paris!

Hootie could become an OLB.

Also, Chavis plays 6-7 in the backfield.

With that being said, we could use all three of them!

Enjoy it! This will be an incredible class regardless.

The class filled up, its not that he isnt a good player. J Adams, John Battle and D Voorhies, are you kidding me, plus C Thompson and RJ really showed improvement. LSU is not the bad guy here.

Without knowing the WHOLE story I will 1000% agree with you here. LSU is an elite program with elite players, many of which have all the pride in the world to play here. It would be an honor to be able to compete at the D1 level. LSU along with all other schools has a limited amount of space. You take your shot when it's given to you because the window may close at any moment. I feel terrible he missed his shot (if that's truly the case). Would still love to have him be with LSU.

I've heard it before "People measure risk when making a decision but rarely measure the risk on NOT making a decision." Maybe in this case he didn't factor in the thought that NOT choosing LSU would a)lose his spot and b)he lives with wanting to have played for LSU but made a wrong decision up front

It's done, he's going to Mississippi. They'll act like they beat us for HJ, but it simply isn't true. We have not been pursuing him since the in home, PERIOD.

Does anyone know why Hootie De-committed from Alabama? If LSU isn't an option for him, why would't he recommit to BAMA, instead of Ole Miss. I can't imagine his life long dream was to play for Ole Miss over BAMA and LSU, even with LSU possibly not being an option now.
