It seems like they don't update the basketball rankings nearly as much as the football rankings.

Watched him against Scotlandville tonight...did not play well at all. He’s built really well, but plays below the rim.

Maybe he just had an off night or something. Reece Beeckman is the real deal. Shame we lost him.

He is a scorer not a pure shooter. If I were coaching against him in high school I’d make him shoot from the perimeter before I’d let him drive. I do not think he will tear it up or light it up as someone stated in this thread. Guards with his size and athleticism are all over college basketball, especially in the sec. His 40 time and vertical jump were average at best for an sec guard.

Most HS guards do

Jalen can jump very well though and is somewhat streaky as a shooter. He's very solid though and will be very good at LSU.
