Who is the last school to land 2-5star WR in the same class? Obviously would love for it to happen but NIL says doubt it will as one of those guys will be a big $$$$ target for a top5 program and leave LsU at the Alter. Ole Miss will give a bundle for the Ms kid and Texas or Bama will go all in on Feaster leaving LsU with neither when push comes to shove.

We have a lot of Wr. Thought this would happen.
And no QB in this class yet (or proven vet on the roster for '26) which you'd think would be an integral factor for the many talented WRs who already did commit.

Not yet. Hopefully we land Bowe.

Losing him smu really isn’t a loss. Bet he’s in the portal after a year

Sherwood Blount and Bill Clement’s estate checks finally cleared I reckon.

There is really no value, aside from sheer masochism, to follow recruiting further out than the day before ESD
with the money being bandied about, commitments mean less than they did 10 years age. . .and even that was very little

Can't blame Anderson. He is being given WR #1 money at SMU and has a better path to playing time.
He's a good player, but I don't blame LSU for not going over their cap for a #4 WR in the class.
I'd be fine with holding the 3 LSU has and going portal shopping for a plug and play transfer WR in '26.

Also hate to lose a local kid
might be good for him to go to SMU for early playing time and we pick him up in 2 years or so as a seasoned vet.

Why we were out of his good graces? Expand …….

Stacking elite guys at any position is going to be that much more difficult now.
