It will happen at TAMU won't happen at Bama. They get paid at Bama and have something to play for. TAMU offers them nothing but money. They get paid there, don't win anything, and have to endure fAggie culture? Nope. Bama guys ain't transferring though.

Don't think so. Regardless of what some people say, signing a national letter of intent does still mean something.

If you sign an NLI with an institution and want a release to go somewhere else you must face a penalty if the initial institution doesn't grant you a complete release. The NLI basic penalty is that you lose one year of competition in all sports and must serve one year in residence at your next NLI institution.

This won’t end with Saban. They will hire the best coach available and continue to bend rules.

I think there was a recruit who signed with Texas and then went to USC within 4 months (before first season started) -McCoy was last name.

Alabama will struggle to hire a coach just as much as anyone lately(besides the craziness of this particular off season)

i’ve been saying this ever since he was hired

anyone that didn’t think he would build a dynasty at bama is/was an absolute fool

and there were way too many predicting he wouldn’t on this site

& he requested/granted a release from USC originally. You can downvote my post about the rules for signing a NLI, but it's true.

"USC is expected to grant McCoy a full release from the Letter of Intent he signed in December."

I think they'll end up with 123 scholarship players and they'll somehow make it work with the NCAA.

It won't be as effective without him though.

They will turn into Texas once he's gone. He's the guy keeping the whole thing together. Everyone knows he's got more power than them. Once he's gone, boosters will burn it to the ground out of their own hubris.

None of them will see the field with Jo Jo Earl playing receiver but they will be looking good in the players parking lot .
