He said Jake Delome (however you spell his last name) has been working with him since 5th grade and he made throws that high school quarterbacks couldn’t make. He also said that former LSU tight end David LeFluer’s son is in 8th grade and he is already 6’5!

Wow! I have known David since I was a little kid (his parents and my dad are neighbors) and remember his son from when I was younger...crazy he's already in 8th grade and that big!

Amazing how small Mr Lafleur was in comparison to David. Most impressive player I’ve ever seen in uniform.

Also an impressive man off the field, very down to earth, very easy to talk to...just always seemed to be good people my few times speaking with him.

David is my cousin. His son is legit and he is more athletic than David was when he was that age. Their side of the family has had several D1 athletes. I hope he turns out to be another Tiger great.

Where is David and family living these days? I thought maybe there were in the Westlake-Sulphur area still, but not sure.

Delhomme is not only a popular Cajun surname in the Acadiana area, but Jake is someone that played in a Super Bowl during his career in Carolina.

Back in way back in the day, My big Sis was a Cheerleader, we had box seats, which were ground level, back then all the kids could run up and down the fence. The teams use to play in tear away jerseys, one of the first I ever grabbed was David’s, the managers use to throw them out in piles to the kids, oh God that was some of my best childhood memories, I use to prepare for 5 days before, getting my strategy on.
