I understand Bama, though I wouldn't go there if I planned on living in Louisiana after football, but I just don't understand Ole Miss.

Ole Miss has been his favorite visit thus far. I think winning championships is what has kept him with LSU.

He has been apart of recruiting for LSU during this period but I think the attention the other two have been giving him as of late are make him think a little bit. Like I said I think he will honor his commitment but is having some second thoughts.

I can tell you that at 8:55am when I asked him if we should be worried, he responded, "Na."

the one thing you learn from this is how much Saban obsesses about LSU. He doesnt go after any states players or any other schools recruits or committments like he does with LSU.

Well not smart on Burns part if this is true

Why not? It can't hurt them. Their class is essentially full so it's not like he is misusing his valuable recruiting time. It can't hurt them to still recruit the best player in the nation. I wish Fournette and Jacory would both give the double to Bama and Saban every time they came calling but the only thing not smart on their part in this situation would be to stop recruiting any players of this caliber.

Recruits should understand where LSU and Bama are in their cycles. LSU is still trying to close out on 5-7 more studs. Studs that will only improve Jacory's opportunity to play for championships. The LSU staff doesn't have the time to hound other teams' recruits like Bama does, who are pretty close to waiting for NSD and trying to cherry-pick the best of the best from LSU.

The LSU staff also doesn't have as much time for the care and feeding of the studs already committed. So, if it looks like Bama is giving Jacory more attention right now than LSU, it is for good reason.

This thread sucks. And I'm not even sure it's accurate.

Kiffin is a terrible coach but a heck of a recruiter. I just don't understand what self respecting parent would let their kid play for him.

I think when these guys commit early, they wind up feeling like they're missing out on something, sometimes.
