I’ve never seen a kid spoil his own signing day ceremony, but maybe Jacoby is a different guy than the rest.

I mean, I know we're all gun shy. We've been down to the wire with some major recruits over the years. Kids want to play for LSU, unfortunately we've had Miles and O at the helm. I don't think they had cohesive visions for recruits. Hell, Miles thought Ja'Marr Chase should be a CB. O let Ika leave the team because he wanted to run a 4-3.
I'm optimistic about closing these big fish with Kelly here. It sounds like, from Perkins's mom, that we're organized now, and we're selling an actual vision to these kids that will actually play out for them. I think that's what we've been needing to get over the top with the best recruits.
We'll see Wednesday.

Any time a recruit tips his hand prior to signing, I just assume he's setting up the shock em all game. I expect Florida now.
