I've heard speed kills...

RIDICULOUS SPEED HEADED TO LSU
LSU football recruits elite prospects on a yearly basis, everyone knows this. A very common attribute of the Tigers is speed. This was seen this most recent season as star receivers Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. both ran sub 4.4-seconds in the 40-yard dash. The Tigers will certainly not be lacking in any speed in the coming seasons either.
Powerhouse program Duncanville has a duo of future Tigers that possess elite times. Just days ago, 2024 running back signee Caden Durham clocked a blazing 10.35 while 2025 five-star wide receiver commit Dakorien Moore was right behind with a 10.43. Also among the 2025 LSU recruiting class is Houston (Texas) North Shore linebacker Charles Ross, who ran a 10.48 just weeks ago. He ran that time at 200-plus pounds, just adding to the insane factor of his time.
The headliner of the group comes as no surprise to football fans in Texas. Class of 2024 wide receiver signee out of Humble Atascocita, Jelani Watkins, is currently the nation’s leader in the 100 meters with a 10.22 record.
This should be fun. Watch out SEC!

That’s crazy that the RB is faster than the all world WR. I hope both end up in P&G!

I just wish we didn’t have to wait 2 years to see these guys play in P&G.

well, I suspect you’ll see the RB playing a ton this fall. If Holly isn’t back, I believe we’ll only have Williams, Jackson, and Durham.
With our without Holly, feels like we need 1 more but probably hard to get a good portal player to come in when the top 3-4 guys are fairly elite.

We'll see Caden this fall!

One can actually gain efficiency by going faster, so I've read on the OT.

It looks like Texas is putting the full court press on Moore. Not surprised. The longer he stays committed to LSU, the more desperate they will become. The money could get ridiculous fast.

Could but not likely. Either way we'd be just as complicit. Have to remember cent for cent our NIL package for Simmons was more than Texas'. Guys that can rush the passer are worth more than wrs. They had an ace with Simmons not sure they do with Moore.

Moore understands better than anyone save Underwood that LSU offers what both he and Underwood desire the most, the certainty that LSU will prepare them both to be first round picks and set them on the path to that coveted second contract in the NFL.
All they have to do is their own part. If they put in the work, their dreams will become reality.
Few other schools can provide that certainty, with the measurable proof to back it up.

They will combat that with Arch so that’s a wash

It's not a wash.
There's not a program in the country that puts better WR's into the NFL than LSU.
We need a competitive NIL offer, but the fact is LSU is a better opportunity.

Durham's times keep getting faster. It is simply ridiculous that Durham is listed at 5'9 195 and runs a 10.3. That is not small at all. He's nearly 200lb as 5'9.
I don't care what anybody say, this kid is going to be huge for LSU this year. Him and Kaleb Jackson are going to put on a clinic, especially with that OL and how they are evolving the run game.

and every year, every draft and every time an LSU WR blows up in the NFL it just adds to our reputation and makes it more likely we get the best of the best. Self fulfilling prophecy
