Them high three star ,four star athletes who are very smart will play like a five stars in live action, And usually have the longer football playing career

The teams with the most 5 stars usually win the championships. Just a fact.

I don’t care about stars. I have confidence this staff will evaluate players correctly regardless of stars. If they offer a 3, then that player killed it in camps. If we went by stars we would have never gotten honey badger, Justin Jefferson type guys. We will get our fair share of high 4’s and 5’s.

Shut up. You are spouting bullshite, the rate of a 5 star player being drafted is significantly higher than other players.
some dudes stats on draft rates by recruiting rankings
This dude's data states the percent of players drafted by star ranking:
5 star: 57%
4 star: 19%
3 star: 5%
Talent evaluators are incredibly good at seeing college/NFL talent when players are still in high school. 5 star players are essentially "flawless" prospects. 4 star players are very good players with NFL level traits that may be missing a few parts of their game to reach the next level. 3 star players are considered not likely NFL caliber but good enough to have a role in the college game, these guys are usually physically limited but sometimes hit growth/development spurts in college and reach that next level of ability.
This isn't opinion, you don't win national championships with 3/4 star underdogs. You win them with 5 star superstars supported by highly productive 4 stars.

Well give me the 2019 offense…it didn’t have any 5 stars on offense except for one site on chase.

I’ll take my chances with a team full of five stars

I get your point but Marshall was a 5 star by 247

You're right, that 2019 offense was incredible. But it was and anomaly, LSU just so happened to find the 3/4 star future NFL guys and have them all on the same team. Also marshall and chase were both 5 star receivers.
Also, a quick fact. The starting 11 on the 2019 LSU defense consisted of 9 5 star players (by at least 1 recruiting service) and 2 4 star players:
5 Star CB Derek Stingley
5 star CB Kristian Fulton
5 star S Grant Delpit
5 Star S Jacoby Stephens
5 star MLB Jacob Phillips
5 star MLB Michael Divinity
5 star OLB K'lavon Chassion
4 star OLB Ray Thorton
5 star NT Tyler Shelvin
5 star DE Rashard Lawrance
4 star DE Glen Logan

What about when we land Jalen Brown and Shelton Sampson? Would you rather lower ranked guys?

I disagree.
15 of the top 18 teams last year had the most 4 and 5 stars.
We can argue all day but this isn't one we can argue about.
The teams with the best players generally winthe most games.
Miss St usually gets alot of 3 stars. They compete but never win the SEC.
Bama
UGA
LSU
Usually have the most 5 stars in SEC until this Lst recruiting cycle.
That is why they win the most.
You develop all you want but most of the big time talent outweighs solid players.
UGA
Bama
LSU
Clemson
Ohio State
All usually win because they have the best players not the most developed players.

I believe Delpit, Phillips, Divinity, Chassion,Thorton,Logan were predominately 4 stars
Posted on 7/7/22 at 10:14 pm to L S Usetheforce
Marshall was also a 5 star

No it didn't. Those are not their concensus rankings. Quit being that way

Stars actually do mean something. The higher the star rating the more likely they are to get drafted. This is a fact and it cannot be argued.
Posted on 7/7/22 at 10:53 pm to broadcaster
Need some two stars like Jacob Hester. He was a beast.
Posted on 7/7/22 at 11:55 pm to Hurricane2020
Jacoby mathews wasnt on the team. Now, jacoby stevens was pretty good.
