Is Shareef O'Neal a Tiger?

I saw a few posts on Facebook that he is attending LSU next year. I don't see a stickied thread anywhere about it. I came here for an update and don't see much either.

I cannot imagine him going elsewhere at this point. He tried once and failed

Not committed yet but wouldn't surprise anyone.

There was a thread that he committed with a link to a random guy on Instagram with a graphic saying he committed. Will need a better source

Someone on a FB site posted a pic of him in LSU gear and it said committed but the guy said he didn’t have a source besides the picture.

O’Neal posted a picture saying #notcommitted when he posted the pic of himself in an LSU Jersey. Not sure if that’s the pic you’re referring to

It's likely down to LSU and Memphis for Shareef. Penny Hardaway being coach at Memphis has a lot to entice Shareef as well. Obviously Penny was teammates with Shaq and everything I've heard says they had a good relationship.
I know he is going to try and appeal for immediate eligibility but I'm not sure how it'll go. Will cite medical hardship and coaching changes but I'm not sure it'll work. I could see him getting a second redshirt year. His freshman yr he redshirted because his heart condition. I could see them giving him a second redshirt year next season and him playing in 2021 season.

The NCAA is not consistent with how they grant waivers. They may not want to deny Shareef considering he had the heart condition and it might cause undue negative attention if they deny the son of a high profile basketball icon.
