Agree. Some people are sleeping on Davis. I think he's like the 6th ranked RB in the country. I'd say Emery and Cain are top tier - Davis right below them - and then a significant drop off. If we can keep Davis and get one of either Emery or Cain I will be satisfied.

24/7 Cain sits at #6, Davis #7. We sure in the hell will be fine if we pull both of these guys and two top 10 backs!

No, I don't think it's over with Emery, he's a 17, 18 year old immature and indecisive kid. His mind can be changed at any moment, I never take any of these kids serious until their letters are faxed in. LOL It's a stupid arse decision to make when you talk all the time like he has about wanting to be the main RB and cow bell for the school of his choice, and then you commit to a school that has not only 2, but maybe 3 top RB's in the country. Whereas at LSU you could be the starting RB from Day 1, it makes no sense, but when you try to pinpoint where these kids may go nothing, and I mean nothing is for certain. LSU will just keep working on him to get him to see how wrong he is, and I believe so will his family who isn't too thrilled with his decision right now I'm sure.

I looked at Junior year tapes of Davis & Emery last night; and Tyrion looks like a more explosive, physical, impressive runner to me. Adding Cain or Emery to Davis would be filthy. Can someone explain if the star rating is strictly subjective or is there some analytical formula using statistics, measurables, etc?

Can’t wait for Davis. He is criminally underrated.

You better take another look at Davis’ film. He is a freeking horse! And he has great speed to add to that power. To me he is as good as any back in the nation? A Jeremy Hill type back. Maybe a bit faster. I’d take that any day!

Orgeron should find a couple of backups in case we miss on Cain. A good Williams type would work with Davis as the stud. Davis is special.

All the morons on this board that were just talking crap about Noah Cain over the last week better not say damn word now that we don't have Emery to fall back on amd use him to discredit Cain as if we didn't want him. Bet you'd all love to have Cain now eh? Damn jokers

A lot is riding on Success this season. If LSU can battle this tough schedule and compete for the west. There may be some chance to pull the in-state recruits back.

If you going to rank the 3 RBs they would be in this order:
1)Emery
2)Davis
3)Cain
