Out of 20,293 players in Louisiana, 81 signed letters of intent to play football for an FBS school.
1 in every 251 Louisiana high school players signed with an FBS school.
Louisiana ranked 5th in the player-to-signee ratio among all the 50 states (only behind Florida, Georgia, Utah and Hawaii).

Numbers can be a little misleading for some places. For instance how many of those Montana kids went to play for U of Montana? It's not an" "FBS" school but there isn't an FBS school in Montana and Montana is better than about half of FBS anyways

Trust me, after driving through both places, Missoula is the place to be. Montana >>>>> Montana State in just about every way. In fact, Montana's stadium really is truly amazing considering it's an FCS school.
