Defiantly take a look at this

IMO, this was a horribly underrated class. LSU at this stage simply isn't going to legimately finish 15th in the nation or whatever unless they have a very small class (like Miles 1st season with 15 or whatever). The more you see the Claibornes and the Matthieus and on the other extreme the Davenports and the Shepards, no shocker that the services should just flip coins. They have simply gotten LAZY and don't do their homework anymore...simple as that.

Also, this is beginning to look like that David Jenkins might have seen the handwriting on the wall like Vinson, Gipson, etc. Just because you are the #4 CB in spring football doesn't mean you are going to be that in the fall's first game.

Usually win miles hypes freshman up they end up being pretty good. If he say's they will play then it probably will be in the first game.

He has been on campus for about two weeks now, thats why he has his photo taken. If you look at Liggins there is no official photo because he couldn't make it to campus for academic reasons.

To be honest, Avery seems really immature and what I've read, he can be lazy on the field. This wouldn't surprise me at all and I'm not even sure he'd be a big loss. I think he's living off his brother's hype too much. Is he a good athlete? Yes. But he isn't anywhere near PP7's level.

Anyways, I doubt it has legs. His twitter feeds are saying he is looking forward to BR, blah blah and talks about guys like Rickey Jefferson...

Look... Your are always going to see this no matter how hard the recruiting services work. The fact of the matter is that some kids are rated highly because they play very well in HS and have the "potential and measurable's" they look for the next level. Unfortunately, there is more than physical attributes that are needed for this transition. Just like going from college to pro. How many 1st round picks disappear to the great unknown?
