if they are in the right system and coached up right. some teams 5 stars produce more and better than others.

Did I state that? Did I pose that?

My point is that a star rating by various recruiting sources isn't a GUARANTEE of program success. Moses has yet to do anything in NCAA and he may or may not, but for folks to lose their minds over his commitment may be an unfounded regret.

nothing is guaranteed in life except death and taxes. but if you research this kid. you will find that he has been playing on a high level since his pop warner days. the proof is in the online videos. is this a big miss. who knows? but one thing is for sure. he does have an above average ability to play football. and that is the miss in my opinion.

I'd guess so. And, I was a bust.

5 stars don't guarantee anything. However, from what I have seen 5 stars are much more likely to be able to contribute and play well as a true freshman.

Guarantee?? no. it seems like a mixed bag to me. Patrick Peterson, Leonard Fournette and Laell Collins lived up to the hype and Xavier Carter, Al Woods, and Chris Davenport don't. some like Craig Loston, Anthony Johnson and Terrance Tolliver contribute but don't make the big splash that we were expecting. Then you have 2&3 star guys like hester and Mathieu that play like 6 star guys

Guaranteed a lot of bench time for Russell Shepard. But he eventually made an NFL roster.

Having 5 stars guarantees nothing, but recruiting services are getting pretty damn accurate.

Are there great players who weren't rated high? Of course, like Dural, Chark, Neal, battle...
But for the most part you know what kind of talent you are getting.

Who are our top running backs?
Player/247 composite

1: LF/100
2: Guice/97
-
3:Williams/90
4:Brossette/92
-
5: Lanard F/82

What order do our CB start?
1 white/97
2 Jackson/97
3 Toliver/99
-
4 Paris/97
-
5 Thomas/91 moved around
6 Lewis/92 moved to safety

Top LBs?
1 Beckwith/96
1 Key/95.8
-
Riley/86
Bower/91
Alexander/86
^ White/93 and divinity/96 on way to passing these second tier

Best safety?
Jamal Adams/98

Best OL?
Pocic/97

First olineman to see field from 15 class?
Tehuema/98

Second?
Weathersby/95

I'm sure with enough and good coaching they can.
