Why bring up Texas and Michigan when neither were being considered by either recruit?

He wanted to talk about who puts the most OL & Safeties in the NFL.

I keep talking about the perception that Saban has created that Bama and that LSU has nothing.

UT and Mich are traditional OL factories. Hence I mention it to put in perspective. I found it worth note; and was frankly surprised. It's my post, I'll put what the frick I want in it. RA if you want.

He got to pick the time frame (5 years), I did the lookup... and he did ask "who has put the most____". Not how many have Bama & LSU put in. So I got to choose that.

I agree with the initial post. That said, I will focus attention on the players that choose my Tigers.

Eye doctor guy is paying the kids in Monroe to go to bama. It's very simple. It's not how miles talks to their mama or where they feel at home or whatever the frick they say. They're getting paid. Plain and simple.

Dunno if Eye Doctor is paying; I said in another post that I wouldn't call him a "bagman"

He damn sure facilitates intelligence. And they damn sure know when others schools visit up there... he probably has a role in that. And he does host functions for fans of Bama (area coaches invited, come one come all!!!) but I doubt seriously that any recruits attend.

He may be a Bama booster, but he's probably a Neville, WM, Ouachita, Bastrop, etc "booster". He's been in the area for decades (I thought just over a decade but Neville79 corrected that).

Want to know if there's anything dirty? Start with CRobs Moms new job and see if it's connected to Eye Doctor, or more likely his son.

Edit For Clarrification: CRobs Mom's new job that allowed CRob to transfer to West Monore from Ouachita (over which Shows was suspended btw)

All these defections from NELA stink. It ain't our recuiters, it's not any of the idiosyncrasies people are arguing over. It's $$$$!

I disagree. I think it's been well established, long before Hooties comments to Shea today, that LSU has been outworked in N La (or just NE La). That includes all forms of contacts, not just visits.

Bateman...as in the father of the former LSU golfer Brian Bateman, but dad is Bama to the core.

Did you ever realize how big of a violation you posted about Napier in the other thread?

So when will Bama be penalized? Because they're doing it blatantly and aren't looking to stop anytime soon.

You pointed out a pretty serious violation while passing it off as evidence of "working hard".

Dr bill Bateman. If this douchbag is beat LSU at recruiting then we have huge problems. He is a bitter, against the grain c@cksucker who I feel like made his own son miserable when he was playing golf. He is the type of person who is miserable alive. He ain't worth the time or effort of conversation. It makes sense,if true, for Saban or the REC to use him.

I read it to say they've been outspent, not out worked

My thought is that Bama won't be penalized as long as Emmerit is chief enforcer. period. He owes his success to Saban. Just my theory on it; and a huge generalization.

But, a lot of these "broken rules" are very common. But because Saban is Saban, and he knows and loves NE La, Bama is just doing it better, more efficiently, and targeting the right kids at the right time.

As an example: LSU recruited CRob since the 8th grade. Bama did too. But the full court press didn't start until a couple of months before the transfer to West Monroe. They are smart enough to risk exposure or create "Bama weariness" by not acting too early.

I suspect not any time soon.
