This is it. Don't try to understand. Some people like to vote for the front runner just to say they voted for the winner. Don't try to understand.

If you don't understand see last two presidential elections.

We need to chill out. LSU will be fine,we will cherry pick the other states(miss, and texas)to make up for the la loss. LSU will get the studs we need. Les knows the game. Trust him. I do!!!

I could explain it in deep with in 2 sentences, but I would get a long time out. Location 30 % _____ 70%. Anyone in a management position in the working mans world understands. Leading is simple.

it's much better to not "bash" anything. Doesn't mean there weren't mistakes made or other dynamics at work.

It would help you to understand the cultural divide if you were young black male. Obviously we have many a YBM come to LSU so I don't think race had anything to do with it but understanding the the young culture period will tell you that they do not value what you do

Oh man. I didn't want to steer the conversation in this direction, but there's some definite truth to this (and I know because I was a young black male at Redemptorist in the 90s).

At that time there was some definite animosity (whether warranted or not) towards LSU in my friends' circle. Most of the black students had Southern University ties, but would be belittled for supporting SU as opposed to LSU since of course SU competes at a lower level, so they would latch onto whatever teams would beat LSU or were superior to LSU as a means to get back at that strong LSU contingent. Not saying this was right or whatever, it was just the cultural climate at the time. And I wouldn't be surprised if there was this kind of similar divide today.

People just have to understand that a lot of people, not just in the black community, but in all communities, don't revere LSU like a lot of fans do.

I'd say, from my experience, there's probably more LSU-hate in the Lafayette area than any other in the state...

You can read a lot into that statement that Bama showed him that they wanted him more. There are a lot of ways to show that kinda love.

What the hell do these recruits owe anonymous strangers on the Internet when they make the most monumental decisions of their lives

They don't owe me or any posters. I was hoping they might have more pride for the State of Louisiana. In case you haven't noticed all the top ranked La players are going to ONE place, Bama. Again, the one school most likely to stand in the way of LSU's success. Saban's building a mini La contingent, a home away from home if you will, and it will continue to grow if the "fence" is not put up. You can bet Saban's loving every minute of it. Just another way to stick it to his ex-employer.

To me it's tantamount to a USA olympian defecting to Mother Russia. Ok maybe that's an overstatement, but it's got it's similarities.

Same distance time wise from Monroe to Tuscaloosa as it is to Baton Rouge and its an easier all interstate 20 drive to Bama add that to the fact that we had a coach not putting on the work as evidenced by miles reassigning him and you end up with this. Nela was one of the first places Saban focused on when he came here and then again at Bama. Miles decided to go Nola centric and this is the result
