Hopefully he's a better passer than Tebow.

If he brings 2 natty titles, then I'm down.

We already have the black Tebow coming. Don't be greedy.

I'd prefer Lil Drew Brees AKA Shane McCarley

Tebow was a plenty good enough passer in college. In three years as a starter, he finished #2, #4, and #1 in the nation in passing efficiency.

Cord Sandberg doesn't fit into LSU's offense at all.

How not? No one really even knows what "LSU's offense" is.

SO VERY TRUE

I as under the assumption it was a power running/play action passing offense with a 60/40 run to pass ratio

With the backs yall have I dont see yall playing much spread or read option and that's what Sandberg plays in HS. He never takes a snap from center in ANY of his highlights.

our coaches dont care about offensive scheme.

we run 8 different offenses, so whoever we get will work just fine in 12% of the plays we run that fit his style.

Cord's throwing motion makes Jordan Jefferson look like Peyton Manning

Kincade is the real deal

These two are the top 2 QB recruits Mississippi State is after.

I prefer Sandberg b/c he is a little bigger. Kincade put up unreal numbers as a JR in the Dallas area but seems a little under sized at 175 he really needs to hit the weight room

I think that is ideally what most LSU fans want to see, and what we are likely to see with Mett this year.

Even with all those backs last year, we ran a good bit of read option when JJ was in. Les will generally tailor the offense to fit his players' skill sets (or what he perceives as their skill sets, anyway).

I agree about our offense. Does anyone really know what our offense is? All we know is that Les wants guys that can run and talk of wanting to employ some spread option sets. Our backs are fully capable of running the spread option. Micheal Dyer wasn't exactly a pure spread RB and he did just fine in it. We would need someone to set the edge though and that may be where the offer to the Gray kid from Tennessee comes in. He's that speedy, little edge setter we lack. Brazil or White could do it also. Not every spread is like the Florida one with Demps and Rainey. They just didn't have a big back worth a shite to use. Oregon also has tried to employ bigger backs as well but they transferred before contributing.

Sandberg would be okay with another guy in the class as well but I'd rather have Johnson from AL over him. Kincaide, Ferguson, Staver and McCarley are my preferences at this point. Cody Thomas would be one if not for his possible baseball future.
