A week ago he stated LSU was out of the picture. Around that same time, rumors surfaced that he was recruiting Patterson to Ole Miss while they were taking their OV's to LSU.

During the middle of this past week, Miles has an in-home with Patterson.

Now, insiders from both sides are saying Liggins is all LSU.

WTF is going on? Are Liggins and Patterson a package deal, or is Liggins playing everyone to set up a surprise?

Its just hard to imagine an announcement in Oxford at a restaurant where he goes purple and gold. Just doesn't make sense. I know stranger things have happened but I'm not seeing it. I'm hoping it though.

Kid looks like a monster! Imagine if he can get his weight down. Maybe get some Cam Newton (minus the money, maybe) action going!

I believe he is going to Ole Miss. However, I like to throw out the picture below from time to time as just one of many examples of how anything can happen in recruiting:

DT Cassius Marsh, about two weeks before he signed with UCLA. It happens all the time.

Supposedly all the local kids are having a banquet to announce individually where they will go to school. It isn't just for Liggins. Schools do this all the time so everyone can announce on the same day and same stage one after the other.

It doesn't take guts to commit to LSU when there are several other players all giving their verbals at the same time.

Reports are it is not just Liggins, it is several other highschool recruits from around the OXford area. This isn't Liggins solo walking into Oxford and pissing off the Ole Miss fans. Its a night hosted by a radio station or something for all the area highschool kids that haven't committed yet.

Yay, now we all get to discuss how great Liggins will be after losing the weight! I'm so excited!!

And in a few hours, when people speculate he is heading to Ole Miss, we can discuss how we never wanted his fat arse anyways. What a horrible human being.

And when he signs with us on NSD, we can scream from the rooftops that he is the next Cam Newton!!!

Im sure all that will happen, but frankly, I'd just like to sign all the talented athletes that we can.

The guys saying Liggins is too big for qb and has a weak arm are the worst evaluators I've seen. Did they watch his film? There is nothing weak about his arm. He doesn't have a cannon but his arm is still strong. Better arm than Rivers by far. As far as the weight, have you seen the kid run? He runs under 4.7 in the 40 at over 270. That is nothing to laugh at. He is very athletic for guy his size and has running skills. There is no rule that says a qb can't be big or weigh 290. As long as he remains agile and can throw the ball then it doesn't matter how much he ways. Moffit is the best in the business and will find the happy medium for his weight. I'm thinking 270-275. This kid isn't fat by any means. He's just big. I like this pull if he actually chooses LSU.
