why would LSU take a kid, who has never been in a three-point stance, and try to convert him into a position he's never played?

not saying he couldn't, just find it odd to take a project like that.

Yea, he's gonna lose weight!!!!!! Watching how they feed these kids at LSU???? Food anytime they want it. At 290 already...They better have somebody on him 24/7...Evidently he does not have the greatest eating habits now...99% of college athletes gain weight their first year...I wish him luck. I would never want any of these kids to fail but everyone in Louisiana knows we do not live in the best place to lose weight....

The dude is a freak athlete. They will figure out a way to use this guy. Did you see the list of offers he had?

You are spot on. Those on this board who think Liggins is an SEC caliber QB have not watched his film. The only similarity between Liggins and Rohan Davey/Jamarcus Russell is Liggins' race and physical stature. From what I have seen on film, Liggins' arm is not particularly strong and, worse, inaccurate. I hope that if LSU signs him it will be for the purpose of moving him to DE or DT because he will never see the field at LSU as a QB.

man, what you doing on here? you're wasting all that scouting knowledge! He know's more than the ole miss, miss st, bama, and lsu coaches!

sean peyton needs this cat on speed dial.

because he seems to be really athletic for his size? slap a RS on him, coach him up for a few yrs, and he might turn out to be a monster.

He's not fat just solid. Like JaMarcus was before his NFL days.

Rohan was fatter and he ended up being a top 5 QB at LSU, IMO.

I mean, I don't expect to see him soon but he could be quite the athlete with krags and moffitt working on him for a couple years.

Front page of today's, Monday, Tupelo paper sports section says Liggins will announce his choice on sports talk radio at 6:30. Same 3, Ole Miss,Ms.State, and LSU. I'll come on here at 6:30 and report his choice. Talk is OM, we'll see. I'll report on here tonight, I listen to that station regularly as I drive home. Geaux Tigers.

If Liggins commits to OM, then maybe Ward switches to LSU?

son, he has to drop about 35 pounds MINIMUM.

He doesn't look fat to me, but even if this is the case 35 pounds is no big deal for an 18 year old that plays football. He could be where they want him by the fall quite easily.
